The current review is not for this lot at 16th & Delmar aka Monstrosity. $10 cash and its well lit & closest lot to the door. CM pays to maintain, but does not own. An attendant is on duty. There is no validated parking. Lot was old, but clean. Be careful where you park. It is possible to be taken advantage of and car broken into off street. This lot is the safest lot in the area. That's why City Museum recommends and even has it on their website. I had a good experience.

This garage is conveniently located on the Northeast corner of 14th and Pine . We used it because…read morewe were attending an evening event at the Stifle Theater and we were concerned about safety on the Metro coming from the Metro-east. We had some difficulty finding it because is is not well marked and ended up driving around the block because we missed it and there was no where to maneuver on Pine which is One Way heading West. We stopped and asked for help and the friendly guards told us we were in the right place. The garage was reasonably priced and we had booked a reservation in advance on the Park Whiz App...which I strongly recommend because parking is tight in this part of STL. The garage was clean, well lit and safe for people and our car. This is much better than street parking though it may be slightly cheaper. It was only a short block away from the Stifle Theater and we felt quite safe. The police ‍ seemed to be watching the area as well because they nailed a woman who made a left turn out of the parking and appeared to try to avoid driving around the block. The police knew the event schedules and planned. Great parking which we will use next time we are heading to the Stifel Theater!

Five stars for a parking lot? Yes, this was that good a lot…read more I had initially parked here simply because they're just down the street from the Side Project Cellar but it was the "72 hour limit" sign that really caught my eye. In the Sprinter van, it's usually a challenge to find overnight parking. Where am I going to sleep? Yes, the van is fully self-contained with solar panels and a battery so I don't need anything. I just need a spot to sleep where I won't get disturbed. With a couple of delivery / work vans already here, it looked good and I decided to give it a try. I ended up spending two nights here, though I did pop out in the daytime to go to work (and a baseball game). It was quiet, level and no, the locals didn't bother me. If you're looking for parking in Maplewood, this is great. When I return to STL in the future, I'll be back. (Oh, and Side Project is awesome.) The Parking Commission of the City of Saint Louis is the City's authority for overseeing public…read moreparking, including planning and coordinating policies, programs and operations for any parking facility or spaces owned, leased or managed by the City's Parking Division. These duties fall under the Supervisor of Parking and the Saint Louis Parking Commission. I believe that the Supervisor reports to the City Treasurer. I can't tell you how it operates or what they do because while they do have public meetings posted on their website, they don't seem to post minutes or notes of the meetings and what happened. The only financial statements on the page are from 2013-2014 nd 2015. That said, I fed quite a few meters during my time in Saint Louis. They accept coins and cards with prices marked. Signage could be a lot better but at least the meter I fed at dinner time wouldn't take any more money beyond paying up to 6:59 PM (because the enforcement ended at 7:00 PM). At least one meter was nearly completely illegible because someone had put packing tape over the screen and I couldn't read the screen. I just fed it a bunch of money and it must have been enough as I didn't get a ticket. It would be nice if parking was free but I know that's not how it works in big cities. At least it was a somewhat reasonable rate to pay for the parking where I did. Tip: Don't lose your car! Take a picture of the meter and the nearest street sign. I came very close to having an emergency when I couldn't remember where I parked the rental car after two hours of wandering around downtown! [Review 17225 overall - 133 in Missouri - 742 of 2022.]
