We came to Aspire Kids from another gym because my son didn't like that there were no other boys in his classes. My son started in the Mighty Mites program at age 5, and after a year moved into competitive gymnastics. He has competed for 3 years now with the Junior SunDevils, and we couldn't be more pleased with his training and coaches. During COVID lockdowns, we were offered free Zoom training, and we were able to schedule virtual private lessons for my son to continue to progress. Switching to training in the day group this past year has improved my son's training and competition experience and outcome even more. The one aspect I have enjoyed as a parent with Jr SunDevils is the rapport and support among athletes and families. I have heard of a lot of drama in other sports or gyms, and not having to deal with that has been great. Parent support is great, and I have enjoyed getting to know other team families. I'm a big fan of Aspire Kids, and the boys' team. I can't speak for the girls' program or others, but we spend a lot of hours there, and my kid is happy to be there. I'm grateful to be a part of Aspire Kids Sports!

A very diverse group of mentors to lead the kiddos though fun STEM projects as well as fun and different outdoor and indoor athletic games. I am not certain who lives were charged more! It was truly a pleasure volunteering each week with the team Future for KIDS organized to make a difference in these kids lives. Really, all he did was play videogames for the week. He had a blast, but this wasn't what we signed up for ... for hundreds of dollars. Before you sign up for this camp, BE SURE TO ASK if the kids are learning coding or not. (When I asked one of the teachers on the Friday, at the end of the week, if my son had done any coding, he said, "Well, um ... yeah, not really. He's kind of young.") It is completely AGE DEPENDENT. Never mind if your child knows how to do beginning coding ... if he's not old enough, he'll be playing (and doing minor modifications to) video games. Bummer!

My youngest wasn't digging the computers as much but showing interest in robotics, possibly because her sibling were having fun with the mindstorm kits. When I picked her up the first day the staff approached me and gladly suggested and offered her to change to robotics. Great! My daughter said she liked programming but preferred messing with the Lego mindstorm stuff. The staff was helpful, encouraging and supportive with all of showing great flexibility. All three kids had an awesome week and want to do it again. They looked forward to going each day. We did use a groupon which was extremely helpful.

Staff are very competent, highly enthusiastic about all aspects of theatre arts (writing, acting, dancing, stage management, directing, make up, costume design, music, choreography, set design, tech etc etc), nurturing, and there is very strong overall sense of community. My daughter has undoubtedly grown in various ways - willingness to try new experiences, confidence acting on stage in front of ~200 people at the fantastic Mesa Arts Center theatre, made good new friends, carefully managed her time, flexed her memory skills, dealt with the setback of not being cast, been a responsible and positive cast member, improved her acting, dancing, and singing skill. Thank you to all at EVCT for cultivating such a safe, welcoming, and encouraging space for children who want to try theatre! There seems to be something for every young aspiring actor at EVCT.
