The food is mediocre on a good day. For the cost, ham sandwiches and stale chips are embarrassing not to mention not healthy. They serve limited vegetables. And they do not obey the law. Be careful on this. I was forbidden from seeing my mom even though she begged to see me all because the manager and my cousin (who forced my mom to sign over POA without my knowledge) were in cahoots with each other. Luckily my mom is no longer there. If he is gone, and the employee that was paid to lie are gone now, it's decent.

I don't think they realize that they are dealing with people's lives. I found the general attitude to be void of sensitivities and concern. The facility, in general, is poorly kept. I have photographs of the condition of the property and the individual units. Management promised to paint the unit for my mother, but never did. She did not even have a toilet paper holder when she moved. The refrigerator racks were held together with duct tape.... and dented on the side. After we moved her into the facility, Savannah Grand management suddenly required that we have 24 by 7 sitters for my mother. This was a huge surprise and cost my family $6,000. We had to move her out unexpectedly and back into her home. Our family was unprepared for this expense.
