Not because my child is a favorite but because my child does his work, listens to the teacher, participates, and the teacher has an open communication with my husband and I. I went to Catholic school for 12 years and I would have loved to have had a teacher like Mrs. Markley. I have never known a teacher to stand up for her students as much as she does. SHE IS PHENOMENAL AND WOULD LOVE MRS. MARKLEY TO TEACH our son in the fall for 3rd grade. She is a true gem in this school and they have no idea what they have with her. I was in the same room with my child when it was 100% on-line teaching and she treated all the kids equally. Judging by your grammar, or lack there of, the phrase must be true about your child..."The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Looks to me like you could have benefited from a teacher like Mrs Markley. The only reason I am giving this school a one-star is because of Sister Carmen, the principal. She is a bully and does NOT care about the kids. She cares about the money (tuition) and that's all. When students returned to school, she wanted the kids to wipe the toilet seats after they used it. Who does that? Isn't that what a janitor is for? Completely unsanitary!!!! If, as a parent, you ask Sister Carmen a question or confront her about something she doesn't agree with, she STOPS talking to you. Again....What professional does that? My child has had the BEST from this school...MRS MARKLEY! Thank you for teaching my child that excellence is key and not to accept mediocrity. We will miss you. We are moving our child to another school not because of Mrs Markley but because of an incompetent principal.

Planning our babies baptism now and the office lady is very nice and helpful, we had to pay $50 to book baptismal ceremony coming up. Just had our classes yesterday 7pm in English. Father Jude is visiting from Nigeria and brings a fresh new homily to the mass. Today he really did well in explaining how God is present in our lives. He really demonstrated how Jesus' message is relevant today. We are not alone in our journey and all the hard lessons that He teaches us, we never experience without Him in our life. The school has caring teachers and faculty, affordable tuition and smaller class sizes. Other private schools have 30+ students which doesn't give the students the attention they need. My son and his classmates have been friends since kindergarten and soon they will be graduating 8th grade together! We have made life long friendships here because of this school. He's grown up in this school, feeling safe and a family environment. Wouldn't trade his experience here in the world! Thank you St Christopher.
