The most unprofessional, bizarre professors I've met at CSUSM seem to actually be employees of the Temecula campus. They would never be hired directly by the university. They are unqualified.

The campus is nice- the buildings are clean and there is free parking. The student lounge is equipped with water, a kitchenette (microwaves, fridge), and computers. Students can also print in the lounge (for a nominal fee). The instructors are really nice and are available for office hours if you have any questions. I went to UCSD for my first degree and I think that these instructors here at CSUSM Temecula are way more approachable. They all want you to pass the class so they are open to helping you succeed. I highly recommend coming here for the ABSN program! It's a little pricey but, what isn't?

When students needed support or clarification, responses were sometimes delayed or unhelpful. The organization of the program did not meet my expectations, and I felt that students were not provided with the level of guidance and transparency that should come with such a significant financial and time commitment. There were instances where policies and expectations were confusing, which added unnecessary stress throughout the program. Before enrolling at the Temecula campus, I encourage prospective students to ask detailed questions about tuition costs, academic expectations, grading policies, and the support services available. Speaking with current and former students can also provide valuable insight. My experience did not meet the standards I expected from a professional educational institution, and I would not personally recommend this campus based on my experience.

From the moment you decide to walk through the Temecula location doors, everyone is kind, patient, and helpful. Marisol was crucial when signing up for the program. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Denise Kirkendall was instrumental in receiving a WIOA grant. Signing up for the program was easy. HSTI even provided all the textbooks, uniforms and even a brand new laptop. But I have to say the star of the show is Mr. Mike the Pharmacy Tech instructor. He has made learning fun, relatable and manageable. It's great for me who is someone that has been away from the classroom setting for almost 20 years. I look forward to our once a week class. I'm excited to be in the Pharmacy / Medical field. The future is once again bright.

If some of us was behind she spend her time personally with us to we catch up. I feel like she demands on us because she knows we can do this. After I finished this program, I got a diploma signed by Efficient Care director and also by San Jacinto College educational representative. Also the National Certification Test is included. All these documents open more doors in the competitive health field. My teacher got for me a few job interviews which give me experience in that kind of interpersonal meetings. Here, I took the following courses: Shakespeare for English, College Algebra for Maths, Trigonometry for Maths, Anthropology for Social Sciences, California Politics for History, Native American Studies for History. I really enjoyed my experience. The coursework is rigorous, the professors are challenging, the classmates are competitive. But it's really an encouraging workspace for the mind and the soul of the student with a good attitude, as well as aptitude.

A recent decision made impacting all students taking asynchronous classes was made this week. The…read moreimplementation of the decision, as well as the decision itself was clearly not well thought out, forcefully and abruptly put in place during the seventh week of the Spring 2025 semester. That is the seventh week of a sixteen week semester. The decision directly conflicts with most course syllabi by way of materially changing the requirements of courses nearly half way completed. The change implements a test proctoring requirement where previously this requirement was unavailable, non-functioning or not required. Being that the requirement was unfairly implemented, it leaves students no opportunity to withdraw and receive a refund due to the very late notification and poorly planned timing. Due to this, students are subjected to unfair practices added after they have completed substantial course work or withdrawal with financial loss in tuition and materials. In addition, asynchronous courses as advertised and as described in Palomar course catalogs are intended to be without scheduling requirements for meeting or other activities. Palomar students depend on this type of course delivery to attend classes due to other time commitments such as children, family, work, etc. The poor timing and lack of consideration of the implementation of scheduled test proctoring is a very questionable endeavor.
