I toured all of the 4 and 5 star preschools when it was time for my son to begin. HMCS was a 4 star at that time and I was still more impressed them than the other schools, including the ones with 5 star ratings. HMCS is now rated as a 5 star. The directors/teachers actually care about each student and it shows. The location is convenient, but right next to a gas station. At first I thought it was kind of an ugly view from the playground, but there are bushes and the kids don't seem to think twice about the surroundings outisde of the playground anyway.

The Director is Aisha Eugene and I cannot say enough good things about her. She is professional, polite, concerned with any issues, and works diligently to make sure that the children are safe and well looked after. She is also accessible and that is very important to parents and grandparents. My grandson adores her as well as my husband and I. As grandparents raising our grandson, we are obviously older and more attuned to his needs. We are raising him to be respectful, courteous, and mannerly, and we want him to be treated the same by others. We have brought a few situations to the attention of Ms. Eugene and she has thoughtfully reviewed what improvements can be made. Harps Mill Creative School is extremely lucky to have her!

The footage did not match at all the story we were given. We also saw other concerning things in the video. When we brought up the concerns, we were told we just didn't know the teachers well enough and that everything was perfectly in order. We were not given a genuine apology and my daughter was repeatedly blamed, despite being an infant. This place came highly reccommended. Wildly disappointed and shocked at the response and lack of communication.

Chapel is offered once a week and my children have grown and learned so much! I am fascinated by how much they recall and comprehend about the Bible! Not to mention they talk about Pastor Mike, the Preschool Pastor, all the time. We have been very blessed with each of our teachers. They truly love and dote on each of the students. I am so glad that they have had this time to come to love school. It will make entering Kindergarten so much easier. My middle child just finished Pre-K 4 and is entering Kindergarten this fall. I am confident that it will be an easy transition for her. I am impressed at how much she learned this past year. She will be reading in no time. My youngest will be entering Pre-K 4 this year (her 3rd year at PATC)! I am eager to see her grow and be impressed by the things she learns throughout the school year. We are so glad we found this place snd i highly recommend it. I do not think the classrooms are too small and the communication has been fine.
