This church has everything you need. St. John's has said "Everyone has a gift, a talent, a skill. And we all want to make a difference in the world around us" and you can truly feel it.
In sea of phony Dallas churches this one stands out and is magnetic. Genuine warmth and great people are found in all corners. As cheesy as it sounds God's work is done here and a real impact is made.
At THIS church I found a comfortable & kind community, inspiring leadership, tons of social and philanthropic endeavors, and abundant blessings.
My family and our children love the warm energy and all the variety, so many options. My kids want to go to the fun events and we always have a great time and feel good afterward.
There are traditional services on Sunday and more reformed modern services on Saturdays so you can pick what feels best. The sermons are inspiring!
Beyond all this, for me, I love how they directly support the community and do REAL good.
This isn't some mega-church fleecing Christians to get rich, this is a group of good people who care about humanity and are working to make the world a better place. They support food banks, women crisis centers, and refugees. They even visited me in the hospital when I had my child and blessed my new baby. We even make sandwiches for homeless people.
The mission statement rings true: Nurturing faith, inspiring hope, and growing in love as we worship God, make disciples, and serve East Dallas and the world.
