From shallow to deep or slow moving to fast - this is a lovely glimpse into something we rarely get to see, except in our imaginations, dreams, or occassionally on a summer swim. The inside of the centre houses a large interpretation centre with wonderful displays which talk about the river ecosystem and environs as well as other local projects. Really takes you from start to finish the whole history. Extremely thorough and detailed. And also, they have an oil & gas exhibit which I really enjoyed as well. Very informative. After staying in various hotels across the province, it's nice to have a place in a large city (by their standards) where I can walk outside and have multiple choices for restaurants and bars. My room was large and brightly lit. Clean as well. Lots of TV channel options, and the TVs themselves were of excellent quality. A/C was a bit loud initially, but I eventually acclimated to it. Overall no complaints at all with the hotel.
