Yes, GFC is a somewhat non-traditional congregation where Christian lyrics rather than hymns are sung, sermons are available for sale on tape, and the crowd of attendants genuinely enjoys the service. The pastors speak to topics that are very applicable to young people and tend to be on thought-provoking, moving material. Grace features a younger crowd than most traditional places of worship and offers numerous bonding activities for folks of all ages. The GFC community is friendly and really supportive of newcomers so if you're looking for a new church home, definitely check them out. They have a program with notes to follow and fill in as the sermon goes along. It usually has all of the Bible verses that will be referenced so you really don't need a Bible if you don't have one. The only suggestion I can offer at this time is for them to have more information about the different events and emotions. They give dates and times but they don't really have any literature explaining what each group is and does.

I have known the Deacon Jim Traband and his wife Dottie as high school friends. I'm not going into any detail but they were a fun loving couple from the 70's. I haven't been in touch with them for decades and they greeted us as though not one day had passed since we had last spoken.
