I leave each service feeling encouraged, challenged, and better equipped to live out my faith. The worship is uplifting and heartfelt, and there are outstanding programs for children and youth. It is wonderful to see people of all ages growing in their faith through the many special programs and activities offered throughout the year. One of the things I appreciate most is the friendliness of the congregation. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and valued. I especially love being part of a small group, where I have built meaningful friendships and found support, encouragement, and spiritual growth. I am truly grateful to be part of such a caring, Bible-centered church family

With fantastic sermons from David, Joe, Adam and other guest speakers you dive into God's word to further you in your journey to live a righteous life with God. It's approachable no matter where you are in your religious journey. Whether you have been practicing Christianity for years, or your relationship with Christ is just beginning, CCC is a wonderful place to worship. The music is great, and there are plenty of laughs throughout service. Sermons bring a genuine and practical message from God's word. Joining a small group was a pivotal time in my CCC experience where I have had great conversations with my peers about navigating life's challenges, and how living with the Lord as a priority can bring you peace and direction. My life would not be the same without CCC!

My experience with St. Francis Xavier is maybe not particularly religious. My partner is…read morewheelchair bound, and in August 2018, we were looking for a new power wheelchair. The Department of Aging referred me to Bill, who maintains the adapted equipment shed behind the church. Bill helped us find a power chair that fit Sharon nicely. We have bought new batteries for it, and it holds its charge for a whole week (with our usual travel amount). More than that, he took two other power chairs that we had bought at auctions which were not correct for her. He had to switch wheels from one to the other, making the better chair EVEN better. You may want to know why we don't just buy a power chair through Medicare. Actually, once we do that, we can never get a manual chair again. It is important to have both chairs for different purposes. So even more recently, our manual wheelchair which was seven years old just broke clean through in the front leg. Bill was able to get us a very serviceable chair, which we are trying. Through a long story, we actually had donated to us ANOTHER manual chair which is practically unused and which seems to fit. So as soon as we are done testing both chairs, I will be calling Bill to return the one he lent us, so someone else can use it. All this is a very long-winded way of saying, what a wonderful church you have. The shed is so well organized, and Bill has always had exactly what was needed. Thank you for this service.

(Caveat: that's a Christian concert but aside from the words in the songs, the festive atmosphere makes this almost hard to notice!) Yes, GFC is a somewhat non-traditional congregation where Christian lyrics rather than hymns are sung, sermons are available for sale on tape, and the crowd of attendants genuinely enjoys the service. The pastors speak to topics that are very applicable to young people and tend to be on thought-provoking, moving material. Grace features a younger crowd than most traditional places of worship and offers numerous bonding activities for folks of all ages. The GFC community is friendly and really supportive of newcomers so if you're looking for a new church home, definitely check them out.
