Charged me for swabs that I did not approve. Told me its ok as this is covered from your insurance then when Tesco insurance asked for the claim they told them it was due to allergies. The dog had ecoli in his ear that is not an allergy. I asked to meet with the owner and this was denied. They have now sold the debt to a debt collector who has added a further £400 to the bill which is £1900 , the dog is still suffering and all they care about is the money. Always vets in there that are locums shocking way to deal with a customer who has been there 20+ years I am hoping the Financial Ombudsman will prevail and teach them customer service and complaint handling in general!

Used this vet for many years for my late dog and also our Budgie…read more She was diagnosed by the Dr Campbell with Heart Failure. She was given medication and she improved for a few months but sadly slipped away a week ago now. During my visits to the Vets, we saw a number of different professionals as Dr Campbell does a lot of talks around the country and I never found any of the 'back-up' vets to be very good at all (having a budgie's nails clipped by a vet who usually only treats cats resulted in a lot of blood and one seriously grumpy bird) but Campbell himself is an exceptional vet with a great wealth of knowledge and a very caring mannerism. As for pricing, we were told by friends that x-rays cost £undreds of pounds but as it turned out we were charged only £60 for the procedure...very impressed. So the rule of thumb is, only book appointments for when Campbell is there as otherwise you may get a sub-standard vet.

When my old dog had to be put to sleep I received a sympathy card from them before the bill. So all in all a great practice to be with!

Very good surgery with pleasant doctors. I've seen most of them over the past few years for one…read moreailment or another, as has my husband, and we've been very pleased with the professional and friendly service we've received. Our favourite doctor is Dr Bennett who always gives you enough time and listens to you as well (not all doctors do this). He has a sense of humour too and can make you feel better with his friendly manner! The practice nurses are very nice as well, our favourite being Eleanor, another friendly person who puts you at your ease right away. The only gripe is that there is nowhere to park other than a terrible, small car park at the side which is almost always full and which is full of potholes.
