Nice sales guy but the finance person ruins the experience. This dealership is about 50mi from me, so I called ahead to confirm some things before going there to check out a car. I was told over the phone that they accepted Ford X-Plan (partner/employee pricing), and used the website to get a quote for the car I wanted sent to my email. Additionally, I had two other dealerships make offers for my car as a trade in before I went. When I got there, everything was nice and pleasant with the salesperson, but the finance guy was off in space. He tried very hard to ignore the quote I had gotten and added $3k dealer markup anyway, said that they actually would not accept the X-Plan discount for no discernible reason, and would not budge from a trade in offer that was $3k less than any other dealership on my current car. When asked why they wouldn't get closer to a reasonable trade in offer, he snipped back with "Well, we're the professionals here". I would say if you have to go out of your way to go here, get the offer in writing first, but... apparently that doesn't matter either. read more

Shady!!!!! Manager said I'll be mat anyone's price. Sent him email from another dealer tried to tell me they were lying and he previously worked there. Well sadly for him the deal was real and he's a scammer. He told me that he couldn't lose 7k on a truck which is a lie. But his ethical approach to call other dealers liars is flabbergasting, especially since it was in writing. Plus he used his little sales slave to push the deal. They just stole 500 dollars out of my checking account today. Here is the store: At the end of last year looked at buying a car and due to some issues I decided against it but had done the paper work. I called them after leaving the lot and told them not to run my debit card for the down payment and was told they wouldn't. But they did, then it took me a week to get them to stop trying to get me to still purchase the car and get my money back. Then in their system it glitched or something and showed I had been given the 500 twice. They harrassed me for weeks to pay them back this 500$ that I had never received and told them according to my bank records I never had two deposits off 500$ Unfortunately for me they still had my card information and though told them not to run it and them before they even ran it the first time not to run it....they decided to just take 500$ out of my account. So basically now since this was not authorized I know get the head ache of having to report it as fraud with my bank. read more

I've had more then one unfortunate dealing of with these clowns. They're communication is poor and Their so-called service department was ran by amateurs. Recently found out they stopped being a Ford dealership. The tow truck driver --who was towing my Ford--told me Ford pulled their license due to too many complaints. I drove past the next day and noticed all their Ford signage was gone and they had no Fords on the lot. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I paid an extra $60 just to have the tow truck driver take me to a further dealership so I could avoid them. read more

** STOP ** DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!! After my truck broke down on the side of of the highway I figured this was the closest dealership and near home so what could go wrong? EVERYTHING. everything could go wrong. I should of checked reviews after a handful of people told me not to have it towed there due to the Horrible service. SHOULD OF, COULD OF, WOULD OF After having my truck delivered by tow I was told that they were really busy and it would be at least a week before they would be able to see what's wrong with it. I'm still under warranty so of course I get a loaner vehicle.... if thats what you want to call it. The smallest compact sedan that smelled like mildew cigarettes and wet dog... SERIOUSLY? ‍ I was rushed out of the location but not before letting them know my husband was not going to be happy and that they would probably hear from him. Of course my husband called them. It took forever for him to get in touch with the service manager who kept making up BULLSHIT excuses, my husband even got an unpleasant open line... yep... oops your receptionist didn't put him on hold We finally decided to have the truck picked up by tow and taken to the Beaverton location and when St. Helens ford found that out we got hit with more BULLSHIT and couldn't make that happen. Honestly, take an extra 30-40 min drive and go to Hillsboro or Beaverton to buy a vehicle or pay a little bit more for great service. This place is a joke! read more

First and foremost, everyone should be aware that ownership has changed at this dealership. The new owners have made a substantial effort to improve the customer experience - and I truly recognized that effort. Being in sales myself, I expect nothing short of an excellent buying experience when it comes to making such a substantial purchase. With that being said, my standards are generally high. Before I came to this dealership, I read the reviews and was hesitant about what my experience would be like. Let's just say, I was very pleasantly surprised. ROBERT FLETCHER was my salesperson, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. Robert picked up my wife and myself from the Portland train station (one hour away from the dealership) in a Dodge Challenger Hellcat. He was absolutely wonderful to spend time with. Our process with him was smooth and efficient. Robert took very good care of us, and overall made our experience nothing short of excellent. Additionally, Mickey with finance was wonderful to work with. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and our new amazing truck. This repair shop is suppose to be Ford certified. They repaired my F350 heater for $500. Did not work. I tried to negotiate with them to get it resolved. Nothing. Took it to Forest grove Ford and got it fixed. Long story with lots of attempts to get resolved. Nothing. They just wanted more money and they would have fixed it again with another wrong part. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Been 60 days and still haven't called to do repairs they promised to fix. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. After talking with friends I guess this is common practice. Had another friend take his car in for the free oil change and they charged him. I will never be back or recommend anyone to buy from them. It will be worth your time to drive to portland or Hillboro to buy your next car. read more

Avoid this service department. Had an appointment scheduled on Friday, was called and informed that a technician called out and needed to reschedule. No problem, I rescheduled for Monday at the same time. When I got there, I overheard a mechanic say "an hour late" assuming they were running behind-no big deal. Turns out I was scheduled an hour earlier in their system and the mechanic was speaking about me! As I walked down to the waiting area the same guy continued to make rude remarks about how I was "f***ing late". So unprofessional and disappointing for my FIRST visit there. My experience with St. Helens Ford started out promising, but ended up being one of the worst car buying experiences I've had. I started by contacting the dealership through their website, where their finance manager quickly responded about how he would like me to call as he "would like to discuss how simple it is to purchase from St. Helens Auto Center Ford CDJR.", and followed with, " I promise to keep it brief and to the point." I called the following day to make sure I could come look at the vehicles I was interested in and was assured by the finance manager that he or a salesman would be available. When I got to the lot, I walked around for about 20 minutes outside without being bothered/helped (which was better than being attacked by salesmen like seagulls going for french fries like other dealerships I've been to), but when I walked in the showroom, neither of the two employees (one salesman working with another couple and a female that appears to have an administrative role?) gave me more than a nod to acknowledge my presence. I figured maybe they were both busy, but surely someone would be right down to help me, or see if I needed help...? Nope. After walking around the showroom for about 5 minutes without any further acknowledgement of my existence, I went back out to look at the cars some more to see if maybe I missed a salesperson on the lot. Nope...about 10 minutes later I re-entered the showroom where the same two employees ignored my existence and a third typed in his office. I thought maybe he'd be my savior, but it came from a group of mainly older gentlemen that appeared to be management and possibly owners, that came in to the showroom from the other building and appeared to have possibly just adjourned a meeting. One of them finally noticed me and nudged the young lady that by that point must have forgotten about my existence, and whom quickly acted like she'd already taken care of me and mumbled something about getting someone to help me. Finally, a couple of minutes later a young, green salesperson joins the party and attempts to show me the vehicles I'm interested in although it's up to me to determine the differences between them as he's not much help. We drive one, I decide to make an offer, having seen and felt comfortable with the advertised price and being assured about the "ease of buying from St. Helens Ford..." along with the fact that I was pre-approved for financing and was ready to write a check/sign paperwork today, how bad could it be, right? Well, by the time the kid filled out the offer, taking the time to tell me multiple times that he has to write down the sticker price, but that's not necessarily the final price multiple times, and asking me detailed questions about my hobbies and profession while I was trying to fill out their paperwork, it took about an hour to only have them come back with a list of discounts that it takes to reach their advertised "web price". Am I a vet? Well, yes, but the kind that neuters dogs, not fights wars, so no discount. Am I in the medical field? Does vet medicine count? (The kid asked me if I qualified for his discount...I'm sorry, I'm not sure there, buddy. You'll have to go ask your boss.) How about a first responder? (He wasn't sure what qualified for that either...) Am I trading anything in? Nope...just giving you some cash and financing the rest. "Oh, well then this rebate doesn't count...Oh, and this $1,500 rebate appears to be only if you're paying cash and you are planning on financing, right?". Well, I'm actually pretty sure that's Fords cash rebate they're offering on the brand new vehicle I'm trying to buy from you, but if you don't know that, it's a good sign I need to leave now...so that's what I did. So, their "easy buying experience" includes using bogus discounts for their advertised price that few will qualify for after having a poorly trained staff handling customer service. I'm not blaming the new guy, but the dealership for not supporting him as needed and for their predatory pricing scheme designed to get people on the lot. read more
