View of the hotel walking from the train station.

I stayed here with a large group of teens and my husband during our 3 day visit to London. This hotel is way out of the way from the city center, but a short 5 minute walk to the train station. It takes about 30 minutes to get into town. Since we arrived early Sunday morning, we stored our luggage in a room and got ready to explore London. Upon returning to the hotel later that day, they assigned our rooms, but didn't realize that they were already occupied by another group! Oh dear. We quickly switched rooms and they offered to give us the full English breakfast. Breakfast was OK. They messed up and forgot to give us the full English breakfast. The kids had to walk past the hot eggs and sausage and had cold cereal, yogurt, and bread instead. I was happy that they had fruit for me to take! Wifi is super expensive! 10 pounds per day! Yikes! Because of the mix up at breakfast and the rooms, they were able to give me wifi access for the duration of our stay. The room wasn't large, but it was comfortable. It was really hot in it though and we weren't able to open the window. I actually slept fine. Bathroom was clean and not scary. There's a spot for you to hang some clothes and store your luggage. The walls are kind of thin. There were three other groups staying in the hotel and some of the kids were making so much noise at night! Yikes! Overall this hotel has a good location to/from the airport and though it's far from the city center, it's easy to get there. Not sure about the Feltham neighborhood so be aware of your surroundings. No free wifi, but there are many places downtown with access. It's nice to disconnect from your gadgets once in a while.

Two stars is generous for this hotel... Location: this location is great if you want to be very close to the airport but far from everything else it was about £50.00 by uber or mini cab to get to Piccadilly or to the city of London.. The overground train is a short walk away and it will be around £8.00 per day to get around.. Service:the service here is terrible to say the least we payed £20.00 for wifi for one week.. The wifi is horrible you can not stream a movie and you are logged out and have to re-enter your log in info each and every time you want to access the Internet.. The lift aka elevator squeaks while in use and I was hit by the outside service door of the lift.. When I told management about the defective door he acted as if I was not telling the truth.. Wow.! Room service entered out room three times as we slept to attempt cleaning as we told them we were not ready for our room to be cleaned. I can go on and on about the poor service at this hotel but I feel as if I am beating a dead horse . They seem to get plenty of business from airline staff as they pass thru Heathrow for the night in other words they can keep up the pour standards and not need your business ... Don't be cheap as I did stay closer to the city and save the money you will use to travel back and forth.. Pros: Short walk to above ground train Close to Heathrow airport friendly neighborhood shops close by Cons: No hot water, rude staff, ice machines on every floor broken, broken irons, windows that don't open, train noises all night long. Did I mention a rude staff in the hospitality industry is the worst thing ever

Eventually, found a public transportation desk at the airport who directed us to take the free bus, H30, to get to the specific hotel. We waited for about 20 minutes or so for the bus, which took us to terminal 4. Remember, London Heathrow is huge, so it's quite a few stops before we reached our destination. When we arrived at terminal 4, we entered the terminal with our luggage, and then walked a long covered passage to get to the Hilton London. It's a looooong walk! Hotel was clean and modern. Check in was easy. Being Hilton Honors members , we received a slight room upgrade. Room was clean, quiet , and away from the elevators. As this was the end of our trip and we were exhausted, it was nice the hotel had an executive lounge, restaurant, and breakfast. Apps and crudités in the lounge were just ok, nothing spectacular, but the breakfast was awesome! one of the better ones that we have had compared to others. The spread included pastries/breads, complete English breakfast, cereals/grains, made to order omelettes, various sausages/bacon, yogurts, fruits, potatoes, various juices, coffee.... you name it! Getting back to the airport..we bypassed trying to get the H30 bus, and called an Uber!

The location couldn't possibly be more convenient. It is literally attached to the airport. Honestly it was a little hard for me to find because after you get off the Elizabeth line there's not really any clear signage for the tunnel that takes you to the hotel. I had to stumble around the airport asking people where it was before I found it. The lobby is huge and really makes a great first impression. My room was spacious and I loved how they catered to international travelers by having four different types of plugs, including a US one, on the desk. This was the only place where I saw that. This hotel really seemed nice and modern, except for the thermostat. It was a horrible analog dial with no numbers on it whatsoever. That was really my only complaint and it was very minor. Just because the hotel is attached to the airport you should really leave for your flight way ahead of time. It takes at least 10 minutes to walk down the tunnel and then you have to get to the Elizabeth line, wait for that to arrive, and then ride quite a while to get to some of the other terminals. When I come back to the UK I will absolutely stay here again.

I am so happy, I did pick this place. I reserved a Deluxe King room. When we arrived we had no issue getting into the car park even though there was a gate. I was a bit tired from the long drive. The girl at the front desk was very cheerful and kind. She gave us our room key and said you are in a queen room. I had no idea what that meant until we opened the door to the Catherine Parr room. First, there is a hall way with a desk before you get into the actual room. I told my husband she gave us the wrong room we need to go back and tell her, I was very surprise we got this room. It is two rooms. A sitting room and then the bedroom. The bed is a metal queen canopy bed. My husband is large so I thought he would want to change rooms but he said it is one night and this room is beautiful. It was a great treat for our last night in England. The room is on the front of the hotel so you do get a bit of the road noise and noise from the pub patio but not enough to make us move. The bathroom has a shower stall and a separate tub. There is also a towel warmer, a pant press and a hair dryer. The WiFi worked well and two TVs. Plenty of enough space to unload our bags and repack them for an international flight. As we had a long drive we decided to eat in the pub for dinner. Additionally, we had a 10% off coupon. The front desk girl was now also working the pub with two others. I ordered the fish special and my husband ordered a burger. Everything was fine. Not our best meal in England but not our worst and the service was on point. In the morning the same three were working again. The staff here works hard and long hours all with a smile and good attitude. Breakfast was an assortment of breads, yogurt, juice, fruit and some cheese. They have warm options for an additional charge. Overall a very nice experience. I would love to come back and spend more time in that room. It was lovely. I am grateful for the upgrade it was so much fun. Finally, it was an easy walk to the shopping part of town.

The reception is tucked away down the alley, as is a sizeable car park for the use of the hotel's customers. The company I was working for in downtown Kingston-Upon-Thames put me up here for a couple of weeks, and I wasn't sure what to make of it before I got there, but the friendly staff, and the overall size and ambiance of the place eased my concerns. The rooms themselves are spacious, well furnished with leather couches, soft beds, and boast the latest amenities (bar fridge, espresso maker, and a luxurious rain shower in the modern bathroom. The free wifi was decent, if a little persnickety and insisted on forcing you to go back once a day, just to remind you that you were logged in... My room rate included daily breakfast at the pub, which was excellent. I ate there several nights as well: the food is high quality and the service is good, though the menu is fairly limited. Overall, a nice change of pace from more "standard" hotels. Everything was well designed and well executed to feel like an English hunt club, but it pulls it off without being the slightest bit cheesy. I'd definitely give it a try if you find yourself in Kingston.

The rooms were "cosy" so plan on spending more time in the common spaces or nearby in town. Breakfast was varied although some colleagues wanted more. What're you gonna do? The other meals were apparently good, as I talked to others who enjoyed dinner immensely. The proximity to town is nice for the perfect-length pre/post-dinner walks, and Thames Path being just behind the hotel ok allows for runs or strolls as far as you want to go. A little farther north or south will put you in two of Greater London's best parks. If you want to stay on-grounds to raise your heart rate, the exercise facility is one people pay high monthly rates to join. The pool is perfect and spacious, and you'll have all manner of what you'd expect to workout otherwise. I'm sure the grounds would be lovely in summer months, but you'll still have space to spread out indoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we'd enjoy our rumored return next year if it materializes.
