10/10 highly recommend brighter beginnings! My daughter…read morestarted here at 3 months old and I couldn't be happier with the experience we have had room 3 (the infant room) MS VIRGEN is amazing! Our daughter has such a strong bond with her and is always happy and smiling when I pick her up at the end of the day, Ms Virgen truly treats those babies as if they were her own and I couldn't have asked for anything better! Her and Nicole (who is also amazing!) read books to the babies, do arts and crafts, and make sure all babies get equal love and attention. The room is cleaned daily and their sick policies protect our little ones from spreading illnesses. They have a huge fenced in backyard with play structures and activities for the older kids. They frequently take the babies on walks with strollers. They also post the cutest pictures on their daycare app, which is nice to see while you are away from your child. Lily is awesome and runs a great facility. She is easy to work with and has always accommodated our needs without issue. My boyfriend and I both cried on our daughter's last day here (due to relocation). It was truly heartbreaking leaving this place behind as we knew how loved and well taken care of our daughter was in their care. I have nothing but great things to say and if you get lucky enough to send your child here, I promise you and your kiddo will be more than pleased with your experience

They were very flexible with our needs, during a difficult transition through relocation/new jobs. Our son was enthusiastic about going to daycare each day and loved the teachers and friends he made. The main instructor was in my eyes a very big " bully " between threatening me with expulsion countless times for things other students where saying, and constantly talking down to me in a rude manner. Constantly being told this was not a " Safe Place " for " Little Fairy's ". I decided to leave PCI for greener pastors and save my money for a place that cares about its students instead of protect someone who should not be in the teaching field. When reporting this teacher multiple times to the office, i was told " This isn't High school and i should get over it " The other instructor who was abit older was very much like-able and was willing to teach you anything you wanted to know. while the main teacher would sit and watch for 2 - 3 hours an then just do it himself with out teaching a thing. I do not recommend this trade at this school, save your money an go somewhere where you are respected and valued.

During the school year, we have gone through 5, that's five, instructors. I can see why there is such a large turnover, there is never enough material for lab, and nearly all the equipment and devices are completely smoked. For the hefty price tag of 33k a year one would expect some a. continuity of learning b. a lab space that is conducive to actually learning, which it is not. The tool boxes that they have for use during the labs are gutted, and the tools that go missing or break, are simply not replaced. Many students end up bringing in their own tools, just to get through the labs. On top of all of this, the material that they "teach" the students is outdated, hailing from the 2020 code book, when we are a year into the 2023 code book. Now mind you, why are we learning old material? Well the director has said, hey you've got a new code book and the old stuff, you can just reference your new code book for the actual answers, whereas all the testing is done through the old material. I'm telling you right now, do not waste your money on this school. It is a waste of time and effort for an education with no help to gain employment and to where you will learn old material. I would recommend trying to get into the local electrical union or try Wayne Griffen for your education. At least there you are given a job right off the bat and an up to date education that will help you in your journey to becoming an journeyman electrician. Good luck and if you do end up coming to this school, you will certainly regret it within a few weeks.

The college's motto of "Mind, Body, Spirit" truly shines through in academics and throughout campus life. I love all of the clubs and activities that are available to students - especially how welcoming they are and that there are clubs that focus on mental and emotional health as well as teams and club sports that promote physical health and activity. The campus has activities for students nearly every day and evenings on the weekends, and the Bingos are super fun and are really popular with the students. The precamp program offered to incoming freshmen is incredible - my daughter made great friends there and it was an awesome experience for her. She has also participated in Leadership Training opportunities that have been incredible as well. The Springfield Campus is very clean and attractive with grassy areas, flowering trees and plants, a lake, well maintained buildings, a modern library, up-to-date athletic facilities, and a comfortable student union. Although parts of the city of Springfield are rough, this college campus feels safe. The campus security department does a great job and my daughter feels very safe walking on campus at any time of day or night. My daughter is in the PT program and I am very impressed with the quality of academics at Springfield. I feel that she is being well prepared for her future career, her professors are accessible and helpful, and the tutoring and opportunities for academic support have been outstanding. It's also pretty awesome that Springfield offers an accelerated DPT program where she will be able to complete the program in 6 years rather than 7, saving her an entire year of tuition. Food at the Cheney Dining Hall is not bad, though my daughter wishes there were more consistent choices, like having a stir fry station available daily, or having a grill with burgers/hotdogs/grilled cheese/chicken sandwiches/fries available daily at lunch and dinner would be great as well. The dorms are very varied, with traditional dorm rooms with shared bathrooms for the floor, to suites, to townhouses. Some dorms have elevators, and a few have AC. The administration at Springfield is very supportive, enthusiastic, and is doing a great job leading the college. President Mary Beth Cooper knows many students by name and attends most of the campus events. I'm so glad my daughter chose Springfield and I highly recommend this school.

I can share this is one of the worst college pool facilities we have visited. It's old, super uncomfortable bleachers, no air flow in the building so it's hot. No snack bar or vending machines. The bathrooms this visit were not maintained during a long competition. Usually the lot is shared with a basketball tournament so a chaotic parking lot. It does offer a lot of vantage points.

One star is too much for this place…read more I applied for a position with this college, and they took forever to arrange an interview. Finally one employee called me in confidence, and told me that I had the qualification to be a great success with the school. The place loves Secrecy...and everything has to be held in confience. When I had questions about the process, or wanted an update, I was ghosted. Finally, after the entire hiring process was complete, the Manager contacted me and wanted to set up a meeting, still no answer. Two days later I received a "No Thank You Letter." At one point, in recent history an employee received a large payout because she was able to make the case that she had been discriminated against. I belive because of this, the place is super nervous about hiring staff. The entire process took 4 months, they were very concerned about email messages and about keeping everything very opaque. I was not signing up to join the CIA, just work at a Community College. Because of the way that I had been treated, I would never consider applying for another position at STCC. If a friend or relative asked me, I would tell them the same...the place is very uptight, and they don't hesitate to waste your time.
