After given the tour (great tub by the way), we were asked if we needed any refreshments or snacks. We then sat in woe as he opens the window in order to make it a comfortable temperature. How nice! One star is too much for this place…read more I applied for a position with this college, and they took forever to arrange an interview. Finally one employee called me in confidence, and told me that I had the qualification to be a great success with the school. The place loves Secrecy...and everything has to be held in confience. When I had questions about the process, or wanted an update, I was ghosted. Finally, after the entire hiring process was complete, the Manager contacted me and wanted to set up a meeting, still no answer. Two days later I received a "No Thank You Letter." At one point, in recent history an employee received a large payout because she was able to make the case that she had been discriminated against. I belive because of this, the place is super nervous about hiring staff. The entire process took 4 months, they were very concerned about email messages and about keeping everything very opaque. I was not signing up to join the CIA, just work at a Community College. Because of the way that I had been treated, I would never consider applying for another position at STCC. If a friend or relative asked me, I would tell them the same...the place is very uptight, and they don't hesitate to waste your time.
