I took the bus from New Vegas (the Strip) to Old Vegas (Fremont Street). It is a very economical way to get up and down the strip. It costs $6 for 32hours or $8 for 24 hours. It is very affordable if you plan on going up and down the strip. Getting a pass was easy. I did it on my phone while I waited for the bus. It took me less than 5 minutes to do. You can use your pass on your phone, Apple watch, credit/debit card, or physical pass. I used my phone. If you are going to use that option, just make sure you have enough battery to last. I did not feel unsafe on my rides, but there was no police presence on board. They do, however, have video monitoring on the buses. Fortunately, I never needed to see the reaction time on any of my trips. The bus was relatively clean. And I will be the first to admit that there are some very interesting people who ride the bus. The buses are ADA-compliant and have wheelchair lifts. The route is pretty much straight and can easily be followed using your map application of choice. I enjoyed my rides on the Deuce. It got me where I needed to be and saved me tons of money. If you have a little time to get to where you are going and do not need a direct route. I would highly consider this transportation option.

Screens showing upcoming stops were streamlined, simple, and perfect for visitors. The public transit busses are wrapped with perforated vinyl ads on the sides, including windows, so this isn't a sightseeing bus (nor is it meant to be), but as a cheap, clean, simple way to get around, we found the RTC system to be wonderful. Some of the bus stops had actual benches, and others only had slanted metal strips about the shpae of a 2X4, to lean against. Not only are they less than useful as seats, if they're in the sun they can get very hot.

AVOID THIS COMPANY…read more Our niece and her new husband--a young bride and groom--saved up thousands of dollars to create a memorable, themed destination wedding in Las Vegas for over 30 guests traveling from across the country and abroad. Instead of the premium experience they paid for, this company delivered double-booked vehicles, failed commitments, unprofessional drivers, and severe security failures. What Happened: Double-Booking & Scheduling Failures: Despite text and email confirmations, the company double-booked a bus and gave the couple just one hour's notice. Rather than executing the itinerary, the drivers spent 30 to 45 minutes of our paid event time arguing with the bride and groom when they should have been hosting their guests. Missing Belongings After Driver Assurances: Before a 1-hour stop on Fremont Street, our driver Nick, explicitly told us we could leave our bags onboard, assuring us he was staying with the vehicle. When we returned, a large backpack hidden in a rear cubby--containing multiple pairs of new shoes, event clothing, two pairs of sunglasses, personal items, and a travel credit card--was completely gone. My husband was the last person off the bus and the first person back on. Conflicting Stories & Deflection: When confronted, the driver (Nick) panicked and offered contradictory stories that changed repeatedly--first blaming family guests, then claiming he spoke to the other driver Matt and confirmed the second driver took the bag to his bus. The second driver flatly denied this ever happened. Credit Card Fraud: At 7:30 AM the next morning, the credit card from the missing bag was fraudulently used less than two miles from where the buses had been staged. We obtained store footage showing a transient man in possession of the bag and wearing my husband's clothes--clothing that looked like pajamas on him because my husband is 6'5". Unprofessional Management Response: The original driver Nick failed to show up for day two with zero explanation. The owner Alan, entirely dismissed the incident, boasting about their business income rather than taking accountability or offering a resolution. They deflected by claiming their cameras were live but did not record, and insisted our family must have taken the bag. The bag was approximately 15+ pounds and stuffed, too big to carry around discreetly especially in 106+ degree weather, their story(ies) didn't add up. While their fine print disclaims liability for lost items, guests were repeatedly assured the vehicle was secure at each stop both nights! We all openly laughed at them on the second night. If we could have pivoted to a new service the 2nd night with our 30 guests, we would have cancelled both buses after the first night, but they already paid thousands of dollars. Spending thousands of dollars only to have your schedule derailed and your property stolen from a locked vehicle is unacceptable. Save your money and book a reputable, trustworthy transportation service with integrity. Otherwise, you risk having your event ruined and your guests filing police reports and insurance claims to replace their stolen property. What a joke! Photo is of the transient man wearing my husband's shirt from the liquor store he used the card at, holding my backpack. How did he get on the bus while the 2 drivers stood at the doors arguing with the bride and groom, and then tell us the security cameras on the bus don't work. What's the point of having cameras if they don't work?

The inconsistency with boarding, depending on if its a new driver and not letting Reserved Seats board first. All loaders/CS agrnts need to take a lesson from the 2 employees that work L.A. Union Station on the 9:30 pm departure. They are consistent and do it right every time. Drivers need to explain to riders that the numbered seats are Reserved Seats, and not just anyone can sit there. Sone drivers do lay down the law, but very few. We were not impressed with the level of customer service from either Transit Drivers nor Transit Police. Neither want to talk to you lacking simple customer service skills. Hotel customer service informed us to take the Deuce bus to see Las Vegas strip. Trying to ride the Deuce bus from 4th & Fremont paid with CCard, Driver doesn't give out transfers. Driver pointed to kiosk to purchase $8 24hour pass. Driver said get off I got to go. So I have to dispute that bus fare with my bank to get the funds back. Did enjoy the trip southbound on the Deuce bus along the strip. Major disappointment, no ADA announcements. Didn't know you need to get off the bus at the Las Vegas sign to catch the North bound Deuce along the strip. Ended up at the transit center. Driver said everybody off and then the driver disappeared. Spoke with transit police standing outside the bus, trying to get directions going back to 4th & Fremont. We got directed to another bus that was not the Deuce bus. This had got us totally lost. We got to a part of the city we didn't care to see. RTC lacks adequate customer service from both their drivers and the transit police. So very sad.
