All of those fears quickly went away, however, after my experience at this St. Elizabeth location! I scheduled an appointment online through their website, and was able to make it about two weeks in advance. I didn't have a MyChart account prior to my appointment, so the nurse that checked me in helped me set up my account in-person, and even walked me through how to make future appointments! My actual exam was with Dr. Trumble, and she was fabulous. So kind and knowledgable - exactly what you'd want from a doctor. The entire facility looks brand new - everything was clean and updated. I asked one of the nurses how long they'd been in this location, and she said it opened shortly before the pandemic. Next door to the primary care center, they also have a lab center. I bopped over here on a separate morning to complete some bloodwork, and was so surprised that they had me in and out in 10 minutes! You don't even need an appointment. Everyone that I interacted with at both of these experiences was incredibly friendly and helpful - I don't think I'll seek medical treatment anywhere else as long as I'm living in NKY!

I use to respect and think this office cared about their patients, after going almost a month…read morewithout my sugar diabetes insulin because he needed a PA and my Dr. decided to go on vacation without giving a P.A I believe it was on purpose because my granddaughter called her, it isn't against patient confidentiality to talk to your family about what's going on, it's against patient confidentiality agreement for the Dr to discuss anything with out your permission, it's going to be a full month by the time my Dr gets back. In my heart it was on purpose that she did this, because above all she knows my illnesses she knows what condition I'm in

I went to the appointment and spent 15 with the doctor. Later I got a bill for double the amount previously given. I called to ask what happened and it took them 4 weeks to answer. The answer was that it was my fault because "I didn't call the right department". If you use St. Elizabeth you will be mistreated, overcharged and still need a doc after.

This hospital used to be a very trustworthy place that I would bring myself and children to and…read moreknow they were getting the best care available in an emergency situation but the past 5-6 years it's been really difficult to trust the physicians and staff. My husband had an accident that he hit his head on windshield they did not do a ct scan and come to find out when he went to another provider he had a concussion, a friend of the family took their 9 YO in for severe stomach pain he was sent home with no tests and told he had the "stomach flu" he was taken in an ambulance later to childrens with a ruptured appendix. I have so many more stories similar to these that could have turned out deadly. Thankfully we do have medical professionals within our immediate family so that helps with diagnosis when we can't receive proper treatment from our local hospital. Hopefully a physician or nurse etc reads this and understands the power that they hold working in an ER and wants to improve their care if nothing else but for their own conscious.
