My child was supposed to go to school here. I was really excited because I had heard so many good…read morethings about charter schools. I am very disappointed with the way the whole open house/ meet the teacher night went. I really don't want to tell it as a story because I don't think my personal feelings should be included and just state what happened. 1. Was told when arrived to look at a bunch of sheets taped to a window, with no explanation of what I was looking at and no one was there to help. 2. Was given wrong directions by staff twice, causing a walk around entire buildings to find a room that was literally around the corner. 3 . I got to the room walked in and found a group sitting at a small table talking, no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed anything after I stood there a while, I left. 4 . I walk around and find the lunch room, which no one told me I had to go to before going to the classroom. 5. Three stations set up. Car rider number sign up. Selling of agendas and lanyards. Sign up for p.t.o. There was a table with forms and someone taking cash only for after school care. 6. No one had any information on bus schedule, here was no sign up. 7. No one had any information on any of the clubs listed on the website for after school. 8. When I get back to the class with my child we were not greeted. Eventually, my child set to play with a puzzle. I finally was acknowledged, 9. Teacher had no information prepared. Not even seating assignment. Nothing was explained by her and when asked questions either she did not know or responded with short vague answers. 10. Teacher made no attempt to meet my child finally I brought my child to the table and introduced her. There was no warmth or anything asked to make my child aquainted with the teacher. 11. The teacher mostly spoke Spanish to parents, leaving out those that spoke only English. 12. Found out this teacher did not speak English til a year and a half ago. 13. Teacher mispronounces words. For example she said she would check the "rooster" instead of roster. 14. Spoke to her about helping out in her class because she stated she had 22 to 25 kids and no assistant...and she declined, stating she had over 35 kids in her last class. I left out many things that I feel are small and could be lived with, that are just personal pet peeves. All in all this experience was very disappointing.

I went here from 2004-2008. It's a public school with a mix of ethnicities (although me and my…read morefriends used to joke that whites were the minority here). The freshmen get their own area where a majority of their classes are located, so it's a nice transition into high school (especially for me, who came from a private elementary and middle school). They do have the IB Program here, which I was a part of for my freshmen, sophomore, and junior year. However, I dual enrolled myself at Valencia [Community] College my senior year. I had to drop a couple stars because the administrative staff were so uninviting every time I had to go to them for something. I got a detention because I missed school due to a dead car battery, even though I called them and told my situation. They were very unforgiving, regardless of the fact that I had the paperwork from my mechanic. You can act as polite and respectful as possible to these people, but they all seem like they got you-know-whats up their you-know-where. I don't know how it is now. This review is only for the time I spent there. To be honest, I'm glad to be out of Kissimmee.

In under a week I encountered incidents of unprecedented bullying and harassment. When I tried to get help from people such as the nurse, the dean, and two women from the front office, they acted uncaring, unprofessional, and even exuded airs of irritation at the sight of a student's tears. And don't even get me started about the learning environment. Their curriculum is subpar. I see many teachers who don't bother to teach, instead piling work on students that they do not understand. Overall, this school is terrible. I would not recommend your child to this disappointment of an educational facility that dares call itself a 'school.'

Overall with the bullying the mediocre teaching is not the best school.
