Dr Tamberg and Dr Wang are the best dentists I have ever been too. I trust them implicitly. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Wang is great! She's professional, hilarious, and puts just the right amount of guilty pressure about flossing into you.

Aside from their prime location, all of their staff are patient, welcoming, and very accommodating. If you are looking to get your teeth cleaned, ask for Melody! She is the hygienist that took exceptional care of my teeth, making the cleaning process seamless. One thing I really liked was how she provided flossing tips alongside an easy-to-follow demonstration; her experience is evident and much appreciated, especially considering how daunting visits to the dentist can be! My parents ended up visiting Dr. Jonathan for cleanings, fillings, and wisdom teeth removal(s) - all of which were quick (yet thorough) and painless - merely depicting the Stern Office's ability to create a comforting environment that will encourage you to visit their office for regular cleanings or any of your other dental needs! You allllready know that cleanliness is a huuuge factor for me; by observing the number of stars I have given this practice, undoubtedly the Stern Dental Office passes my test! The waiting area is neat, family friendly (lol and, surprisingly, super spacious. The bathroom is very well kept. & lastly, the rooms themselves are nice & clean! 11/10 would reccommend for you, your parents, your grandparents, and your kids...but you knew that

I've had it all done root canals, caps, braces, teeth pulled, and now working with her and Dr. Andrew B. Kay on dental implants. There isn't anything that Dr. Deni can't handle. Her ability to refer you to the best specialist is another benefit, as you quickly learn her colleagues in the Toronto dental community have a ton of respect for her. Whether it's specialized x-rays, braces or cosmetic dentistry, she has all the best surgeons merely a text msg away. My life long dentist before getting the referral to Dr.Deni made tons of bad judgement calls on my teeth (as someone who has struggled with requiring intense dental work since I was 7 yrs old). Trust me when I say you need a GOOD dentist -- and Dr. Deni is a GREAT dentist! FYI. I live in both Toronto and San Francisco. Toronto is my home town, and always return to Dr. Deni for anything related to dental work.

She runs a well oiled ship and appointments are almost always on time. On the rare occasion where there may be a delay, she offers patients Starbucks gift cards to grab a treat while they wait. I only wish our doctors had such a policy! Upgrades to the office in the last couple years to include Netflix screens are a welcome change and a nice distraction while in the chairs. I expect my family to continue to be patients of Dr. Denis' office for many years to come.

I called in and was very surprised about the availability. I was caught off-guard because I was used to my previous office where I had to wait a few days if not a few weeks to schedule. It seems like Same day appointments at any time you needed was available. I wasn't sure at first if they were a new office or if they were just not busy. When I came in for my first appointment, I found the décor very outdated and very tight. It looked like I was the only patient in for the day. For a 2pm appointment I was very used to busier office. Everyone seemed to be just standing at the front area waiting for something to do. I was given a form to fill out, and while I was filling out the form, the staff were just gossiping about other patients they saw the week before and how they disliked certain patients and patient mannerisms. Needless to say, I stopped filling out the form and said I changed my mind. The only thing I could think of is, if this is how they speak about their other patients, imagine what they will say about me in the open. I guess there is a reason the office was empty. I guess I am in search for another dental office in the area.

Dr. Michael Perelgut was my dentist for years, until one day he wasn't. He was a jack of all…read moretrades, a periodontist, orthodontist, and cosmetic teeth whitening guy. Whatever he could do, he did - you were never referred to a specialist, because he believed he was the specialist. However, there were several things he did that made me start thinking he wasn't a dental wizard. Firstly, he decided to replace a bridge in my back molar instead of a crown without ever discussing the advantages or disadvantage of one over the other. He ended up filing down two very good teeth even more to support the bridge without a discussion. Another thing he did was Invisalign's. Everything went well with the Invisalign's, but after giving me my night retainers, he didn't seem to care that he hadn't replaced them in two years, and I had to remind him persistently. My ah-ha moment was when he did my laser teeth whitening and gave me a bad chemical burn to an area of my gum on my lower front teeth. He was non-pulsed about the whole thing and avoided responsibility. No apologies ever. The area was white then turned yellow over a week after becoming infected. I nursed my own gums back to health with Peridex, Tea Tree oil, and vitamin E, because he had no other recommendation but to wait out the infection! I was wary of ever going back to his office again. After all this was a man who I noticed over the years was verbally abrasive to his female staff of assistants and was seemingly psychopathic. You could see the power dynamics in play at his workplace and you had to ignore it. I wasn't worried about that, because I could handle his tongue if he ever turned it on me. Funny enough he never did, because I was a paying customer, not an insurance case. I went back for my teeth cleanings once a year or so with the dental hygienist, but knew I wanted a new dentist. One day my girlfriend who was also a patient of his had to get her back molar removed, and Dr. Perelgut pulled, and yanked at this tooth so hard she thought her jaw was going to fracture. She told him as much, but he persisted. All he had to do was break the tooth into pieces he later confessed, but he wanted that sucker out whole! She was a basket case after that. She literally had PTSD from the experience, and she decided she wasn't going to give him any more of her money either. So when we asked for our x-rays, and signed a release document, and said good-bye, was it any surprise that this psychopathic dentist made every excuse he could to NOT send our x-rays to our current dentist?! After several telephone and email requests we had to let him be, and pay for new x-rays. I would not recommend Dr. Perelgut to anyone who cares about their teeth or their mental health.
