She not only managed virtually every logistical aspect of the event, but she helped hugely in navigating the emotional and psychological rollercoaster surrounding the planning of a wedding, and exponentially reduced the overall stress level. Paula is also one of the hardest working, and most professional people I've ever done business with. She was chief advocate, coordinator, negotiator, friend, and shrink all rolled into one! One doesn't fully grasp the magnitude of the multi-faceted coordination and attention to detail involved in planning a successful wedding, until you're in it. We were so grateful to have had Paula's years of knowledge and expertise guiding us, especially since there are no do-overs with a wedding! Plus, she knows just about everything there is to know about finding the best vendors that match one's style and budget. Every one she had us work with was perfectly suited. She completely understood my daughter and her husband's vision, was super responsive and very flexible. She allowed those of us involved with the planning to breath much easier. The proof is in the pudding, and all our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, even weeks after the event. Best of all, the bride and groom had a blast, and wedding memories that will last them a lifetime! Lastly, I will say that Paula is one of the NICEST and real people I have ever worked with. She's a straight shooter and her sense of humor and personal support in every way made her so fun to work with and both my daughter and I now consider her a friend. As my husband said repeatedly during the wedding planning, "Hiring Paula was the best money we spent on this wedding." Truer words could not be spoken! This was my second time visiting Stetson Hall as well as the second SSTW production I have seen. Stetson Hall is located in the heart of Randolph. A historic building set at the four corners of North Street, S Main Street, Union Street, and N Main Street. The building is handicapped accessible with a working elevator to the second level. The bathrooms are also handicapped accessible. There is plenty of parking and an entrance on S Main Street and Union Street. There is also a large parking lot next door should it become necessary. As an audience member, there is not a bad seat in the house. The seating is typical banquet hall seats. They are not terribly comfortable however. I would recommend bringing a seat cushion. The production itself was wonderful. As I mentioned this was the second SSTW production I had the privilege of viewing and I loved every minute of it. I was at Stetson Hall as a photographer to cover an Indian Wedding. I would assume that it is not…read moreas expensive as a Marriott or a Four Season's hotel but the place is fine for a wedding if you are in a budget. Secondly, it is a historic place. Thirdly, it is big. The indian wedding I covered has 250 guests and I didn't feel that it was crowded. There is a stage where you can put the presidential table or DJ and there is a mezzanine at the back which overlooks the reception floor. (See attached pictures.) As to the formal photo shoot, there is a park with a gazebo 3 minutes away from Stetson Hall. But with this wedding I covered, the bride chose to do the formal photo shoot in a friend's house in Stoughton. But I see no problem of doing the formal photo shoots in Stetson Hall itself. I think the bride hired her caterer and her own dj. So most probably, you just get the hall when you rent it. I think the caterer hired was also the one who decorated the hall as they were the ones fixing the tables with decorations. I would recommend Stetson Hall for a bride who is in a budget. But all in all, the guests had a lot of fun as they hired a DJ plus an indian drum crew. I give Stetson Hall a 4 star. It is conveniently located too in the South Shore.

It was truly amazing to see how great and magnificent everything looked. The birthday lady was so taken aback by what had been done in her honor that she was at a loss for words. Everything from the setting, flowers, lighting, attentive service, cordial staff, etc....was magnificent. The décor was truly stunning. The food was delectable, well done, and to die for. Everyone in attendance was beyond themselves on how "over the top" the party was. Soraya is very easy to work with and helps her clients achieve their ultimate desired goals. She has a natural way of doing her thing and reassuring you that everything is going to be great that makes your stress level disappear. From planning to execution, Soraya is there and is involved in all aspects of the event. She is a very reliable and dependable person. She is resourceful, has a great attitude toward her work, is very respectful to her clients, and has an aptitude for great services and client satisfaction. Since we had a small COVID wedding, food was the main focal point of the affair, and Sue was able to take the difficult guidelines we gave her (a menu that celebrated our mixed Chinese/Haitian/Dominican backgrounds and had a homey/down to earth feel) and came up with an outstanding menu to fit this perfectly. She was understanding and sensitive about adjusting the menu to fit our budget, and she kindly gave us a very thorough tasting and made adjustments based on our feedback. She also offered to let us borrow numerous candles and decorations free of charge, which saved us an enormous amount of money and waste, which was ideal for us since we were trying to be as sustainable as possible. The day of our wedding, the Tastings staff did an impeccable job of setting up everything like we planned, the decorations they provided were gorgeous, everything was done exactly as planned and on time, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very thoughtful about making sure that my husband and I were fed. They made sure to set aside food for us during the cocktail hour, which we mostly missed due to photography time. We received a lot of compliments on the food from our guests: my Haitian father-in-law was impressed by the Haitian meatballs, which is NOT something most American catering companies can easily do, and the jerk chicken was rated as "authentic" by our Caribbean guests. Months later, I still have dreams about the gorgeous and tasty holiday-themed cookies Sue baked for us: my husband has promised me that we will buy cookies from Tastings again the next time we are in Massachusetts again. In short, we can't recommend Tastings enough for your wedding celebration: they were a key part of making our wedding a success. We hope to use them again for a larger anniversary party, whenever the pandemic is over.

After exchanging emails with a few other caterers and Tastings, it quickly became clear that Tastings would be the one for us. We met with Sue (who is amazing, warm, funny and a TALENTED chef!) and she really sold us. Tastings provided drinks to the guests before the ceremony (a nice touch), then provided delicious appetizers during cocktail hour and a fabulous sit-down dinner. They also provided two friendly, professional bartenders (we were able to supply the alcohol). They made my cake - which was DELICIOUS and CUTE! At the end of the night they passed out apple cider donuts, which were also a big hit.
