My 2 boys started preschool here and they are still studying here as they love it so much! I really hope they have through High School as well. The teachers are professional, kind and truly care about our children's education. Highly recommended! read more

The SA Preschool Program is 5 stars. It's clean, safe, and my daughter was loved and taught, not only academics, but life skills and about our faith. She learned how to be a kind and respectful student. The program was truly a gift and the bond you make with other families is priceless. It's an extended family now. My son has been attending this school from preschool until now in third grade. I have found the school to be a great place of learning and morals. I'm honestly surprised by the comments of the poor reviews. I've experienced the complete opposite. I mean yeah, like any normal school you will have teachers you like more or less than others but for the most part I've found that as long as your involved in your child's life and education they will communicate any issues to you. My son is a bit of a jokester at times and I've gotten corrections about behavior before but never mistreated him. If you can stand your ground as a parent and communicate your expectations, they seem to rise to the occasion. People need to remember, this is a school and they are having to teach close to 30 students in a class. They have to focus on the kids education as a whole. They aren't babysitters or miracle workers if the child/parent isn't doing THEIR part. I love that they get to attend mass once a week it builds a relationship with God and teaching to love one another. Yes, it puts a hole in the wallet but I will try to keep him there as long as possible. My nephews attended there as well and had no issues. Some of the things I hear going on at these public schools would never be allowed to happen at this school. read more

I have sent all five of my children to St. Anthony's school. From 2000 until now we have been able to build strong relationships with the school staff and families. My children love God, love learning, love their teachers and I could not imagine having to send them to any other school. The amount of encouragement, love and direction that they get at school is no less than what they receive at home. We love the St. Anthony's Roadrunners. read more

I was a parent at St. Anthony's Catholic School for 20 years and all three of my children attended Preschool through 8th grade. The school is strong in developing a lasting bond with Christ within their students. Staff and faculty genuinely love and care about each child. They work hard to guide the children in developing exceptional moral values and provide a superior academic education while instilling the importance of service to others. Parents are friendly and always helpful! The students embrace and welcome new students who enter their classes in later grade levels. If you are thinking of sending your child to St Anthony of Padua school to shelter them and to have them be taught good morals, you should look elsewhere. Sadly, my children were told shocking things by other students. My daughter, in 3rd grade, was told another student in her class wanted to have sex with her. My 7th grader heard homophobic slurs, obscenities, cuss words, racial insults, was harassed constantly by boys and was hit by another student. I reported all of this to the teacher and principal. It wasn't taken as seriously as I would like (no suspension whatsoever by the perpetrator). Expelled kids from public school are welcomed to this school and will then misbehave and pollute the "good kids" environment. Since leaving, I have found public school to have better behavior and zero tolerance for bullying. A mother who was arrested for child endangerment and spousal abuse was allowed to continue being a volleyball coach and the principal refused to consider multiple notes sent to her by different parents because they were "anonymous". A simple google search revealed the arrest date of the parent and cleared up if it was a rumor or not! Children's safety isn't the priority, but rather if a note is signed?! The principal tells parents about other parents being behind in their tuition payments (no confidentiality). The principal also told a parent that my child was only 'nice to her child's face'.... puzzling when she doesn't even speak to my child, so how would she know how she feels?! And even if she did know how my child felt, why would she say such a horrible thing to a parent?! The principals own daughter who was a teacher left!! I can go on and on and on about all the bad things that happened but I think you get the idea. Save your money and find a good public school, charter school, or home school is what I would suggest. Just because a school is private/religious doesn't mean you will have your child surrounded by good morals and upstanding people. Quite the opposite was my experience in far too many instances to recommend anyone send their kid here! Update 11/20/15: The school complained about my review. I stand by it 100%. Don't like my review? Then don't treat good families who volunteer and give to the school like this and open your arms to the horrible kids and deadbeat parents! read more

My four year old son did not meet there standards after attending there school for two months. They don't believe in punishment so when children act up they have them pray. So I guess praying is punishment. They said before they kicked him out of there school that there was no improvement. He was not disciplined properly because there was no punishment for his bad behavior at the school, that's the reason for no improvement. My son made there jobs to hard so they kicked the four year old to the curb. They also repeatedly asked us to find another school without proper documentation kicking my 4 year old out of there school. They threatened us with cps and told us to take our son to the doctor. I took my son to the doctor and the doctor said everything was normal. I complied with all there requests and all payments were on time and they still could not do there jobs effectively. The school is organized and squared away from what I see. But if your child makes there job to hard expect to hear about it on a regular basis. They try to offend you enough to remove your child without proper documentation, with meetings emails phone calls etc. but at the end of the day it's there job to get the children to conform to there rules. If your 4 year old is a handful which most are don't waste your time with paying the fees and tuition. They turn it around on the parents cause there jobs are harder. read more
