    If I could give this "faith based" school zero stars I would! My niece was accepted into the school…read moreas she is a IEP student. DAYS before the school year starts her mother was informed that she is no longer "deemed eligible" for the school year because (and I quote), "Due to the students need's and level of services that were outlined in the IEP that we do not currently service or have resources to accommodate." All of her siblings were accepted along with her but now DAYS before the school year starts she is now "deemed ineligible". Almost all schools are now full and it's next to impossible to find her a school DAYS before the year starts. all of her necessary information was handed in back in June. They did not inform her mother about needing a special scholarship. They also told her that they do not provide peer support or help with writing. A woman working at the school said (and I quote), "Your daughter will never obtain the credits she would need by high school because she has these special needs."This is a faith based college prep school. Where is the faith in that statement? You would think that with the school claiming that they are "faith based" that they would show some kind of compassion. My poor niece has been kicked out on the street. I'm livid right now!

I enjoyed the food I ate. We mainly ate at the two marketplaces which both have amazing food. But at one of the marketplaces, they had a problematic female customer. She ended up being taken away by the police. Security didn't do much of anything. Why have security then? Some other people seemed like they were looking for trouble but luckily it escaped them. Haha There is a mall about 20 minutes away. A few stores were nice. The downtown area is very walkable. Of course there are many places to see Harley Davidson toys since they are from here. I randomly talked with someone about the new lofts. She said they are inexpensive. They looked real nice from the outside. They also have a great outside area for concerts. The weather was not terribly hot despite it being summer. I am glad I saw Milwaukee.

The…read morechurch is in a residential area in the south part of Milwaukee near the boundaries of Oak Creek and Greenfield. It is located on 31st and Marilyn. The Mass schedule on Sunday is 7 am, 9am, and 11 am. Fr. Carmelo Guiffre is great and so are the Xaverian Fathers who help out with both Sunday and daily Masses. Another great thing about this church is that there is a daily Mass everyday at 7 am, 8:30 am on Wednesday when school is in session.

They are taking donations on their facebook page with proceeds going to their school. Otherwise it's totally free to visit. It's advisable to bring your own small ladder to get some cool shots. We were lucky enough to use someone elses. We also had our daughter take some shots off the roof of our SUV. Supervised of course. It was about 35 minutes from Milwaukee and the views are pretty awesome. They ask that you don't cross the ropes and some have damaged the sunflowers immediately in the first few rows carving smiles or other symbols on them. The sunflowers themselves range from under 5 feet to over 8 feet which is why I recommend a ladder. It was a nice country drive and a chance to get some fresh air. We really enjoyed visiting.

The atmosphere was patriotic and made you feel great about our country. They had their men's and Children's choir honoring our flag and Armed Services with song and merriment. Guest speaker Colonel Joe Willis, USA (Ret) was spectacular. The dinner was Roast Loin Of Pork, mashed potatoes, and bacon wrapped vegetable medley. Their church staff made all of us veterans and our guests feel at home! Hopefully this is going to be an annual event to honor our service members, our flag, and our country! Kudos to you all!

Volunteer workers are enthusiastic about ecology, as one might suspect. It's also a nice place for an event, last time there was a reception of some sort being set up. There's a nice patio to relax and sit, the garden like surroundings are very peaceful and inviting. Make it a a point to visit and make use of the Oak Leaf Trail.

This is natural kid tendencies, but my students were not treated with as much respect as they deserved. Also, we had to wear other people's snow outfits instead of being offered to bring our own. I was not told and students were not told. I hope they fix this policy to polish it up for next year.
