I really liked that the school had a huge swimming pool and diving pool as well. They also have a summer program to teach young kids how to swim in the summer. If you love swimming , this school has a great program for swimmers. They have a good cross country team (Coach Kurt, who was the gym teacher at walker elementary) and when I was there in the 90's are basket ball team was great, who knows today? The wood shop class was a lot of fun here. I still have the end table that I made from a few pieces of oak. I wish I was able to complete my table that we were finishing, but I had to move. A few of my class mates and the kids I grew up with who attended here ended up going to Harvard and Yale. It's a good school. My only regret is that I wish I had applied myself better when I attended. I give the school five stars, as I feel the school did the best that they could, at least at that time. The teachers didn't give up and my history teacher who on the first day of class I thought was going to be the meanest lady I ever met, turned out to be the nicest and sweetest. That was a life lesson. Those who attended here during 94-98 probably without a doubt had the most fun here. Athough this has to do with politics, the school lunch program seriously needs to be changed. The food served was terrible. Our lunches consisted of French fries, Pizza, Burgers and fried tatter totters, and we wonder why childhood obesity is now becoming the norm. Of course, who could forget the vending machines full of sodas, chips and cookies.

This place is horrible do not recommend!!!The books here are from the 1900's.The teachers here…read moredon't even teach anything other than the 3rd floor math teacher.This school is only concerned about its appearance of the school and dose not care about the actual children that attend the school or if they will even pass.I am talking from full experience so take my word.The janitors never ever clean the halls,cafe,classrooms,kitchen,etc.This school is broke and cant even afford to get up to date books or afford to have enough chrome books(computers) in each classroom for every child.DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO MESSMER ST,ROSE,ST.MARY NOR MESSMER HIGH because they will just kick you out after the first few months.

If I could give this "faith based" school zero stars I would! My niece was accepted into the school…read moreas she is a IEP student. DAYS before the school year starts her mother was informed that she is no longer "deemed eligible" for the school year because (and I quote), "Due to the students need's and level of services that were outlined in the IEP that we do not currently service or have resources to accommodate." All of her siblings were accepted along with her but now DAYS before the school year starts she is now "deemed ineligible". Almost all schools are now full and it's next to impossible to find her a school DAYS before the year starts. all of her necessary information was handed in back in June. They did not inform her mother about needing a special scholarship. They also told her that they do not provide peer support or help with writing. A woman working at the school said (and I quote), "Your daughter will never obtain the credits she would need by high school because she has these special needs."This is a faith based college prep school. Where is the faith in that statement? You would think that with the school claiming that they are "faith based" that they would show some kind of compassion. My poor niece has been kicked out on the street. I'm livid right now!

this place sucks the hotel rooms are filled with desks and not beds the best thing about it is the…read moreother people there and even they are not great if you can make friends thats good but being forced into this hotel every day for months is a HUGE pain would not recommend just get a different hotel the staff is rude and has a whole jail like room for when you dont do what they want i would recommend going to a different place when your supposed to stay there it would be a such a better time there a roaches and bugs everywhere and people vaping, smoking, and touching themself in the bathroom they are dangerous places and would not recommend if you are not prepared watch out for a kid named Elliot shaw the worst staff is zachary shackleford he is rude and will send you to the jail like room for talking to much it is not ok NEVER COME HERE
