My experience as a mother at The Learning Experience in Audubon has been incredibly offensive and…read morenegative. The owners of this location, Allison and Annie, have treated my 4-year-old daughter and I with such hatred. After months of harassment and name-calling, the two women proceeded to forcibly remove my daughter from this school without cause or reason. As a mother and an educator I do not recommend this school for your precious children. On one occasion, I witnessed Allison become very angry with my sad child as I left for work. She proceeded to grab my daughter's arm and scream "No!" As you can imagine, this broke my heart. On another occasion, Annie left a voicemail on my phone labeling my daughter as a "bully" because she had a difficult time sharing crayons, as coloring is her favorite activity. My father (also an educator) and I immediately arrived at the school to express our concerns. Allison and Annie were argumentative and continued to name-call without remorse. In addition to these terrible circumstances, this school has closed several times due to rising Covid cases within the classroom. The school does not enforce mask-wearing in young children. They have admitted that my daughter is "great" at wearing a mask but other children are not. When inquiring further information about how I can protect my child, Allison left me an angry voicemail demanding that we meet. She proceeded to send an email that stated: "After much consideration we unfortunately have made the decision to terminate this relationship effective immediately. We will mail your daughter's things to your home." Sadly, we are not the only family who has experienced such hatred from Allison and Annie. Many families of whom we are in close connection to also admitted how terrible the treatment is. Please do not send your children to this school. These two women appear to be kind with a smile, however, they are extremely mean-spirited and harass parents, especially hard-working mothers. I have made several attempts to contact the corporate offices, as well as the general manager, Nicole. Unfortunately, there has been no returned calls or emails.

My child learned so much in those 9 months and was so happy to go in everyday. Ms Holly and Mr. Vernon are amazing teachers and really make learning fun for them. Both the director and owners are great as well. Highly recommend this school.

Not a safe or trustworthy place for your children…read more I am devastated that I did not write this review sooner in hopes it could have helped keep the two babies seriously injured there safe and out of this place. The teacher that is in jail for harming the babies was also my daughter's infant room teacher. Absolutely devastated for the babies and their families. Their lives will never be the same. And livid at the statement issued by the center. It is more of the same from them. My daughter was in the infant room at Oaks and early on we had concerns about the safety, unprofessional processes, and unwillingness of the Director as well as the previous or past owner to have open, honest, productive conversations about issues that came up. The Director literally said to me "Michelle, you just need to stop this and trust us". No, I will not just trust you or anyone with my infant. Our primary issues were: 1. Unsafe entrance in that anyone could walk through the doors by following others through with no checks or protocal for checking 2. No transparency when my daughter moved to the toddler room on who was changing her diapers even though this had been provided in the infant room and this became a battle with the director when it should have been an easy thing 3. Staff that was doing at least double duty as both carers and cleaners 4. A broken fence lock that was never fixed in the play area 5. My daughter always wanted to get the heck of there when I picked her up unlike the daycare that I moved her to where she sometimes doesn't want to leave for a good while after we get there 6. Some staff were very disheveled. I didn't want my daughter to think that was a normal way of being. After many attempts to be collaborative and open with the owners and the director, it was obvious that if a serious problem arose that these are not the people you'd want by your side to work through it. I left before anything serious happened. There is an incident I recall in the infant room where my daughter did have unexplained injuries while in the care of Catalina Baldwin while the other teacher was out on vacation. I thank god that it was not serious, but it could have been. The only explanation I ever got was that there was no incident at school and it probably happened at home or in her car seat. We were lucky.

Beware, this center might look great from the outside and say all the right things but is a danger…read moreto children. My child attended Oaks and had the same little girl in the three and fours that would bully her physically, emotionally and verbally. As this is shocking enough at 3/4 years old the staff allowed it. The owner Alice, director Christine and teacher Alayna did not take appropriate action to find a solution to the other child's aggressive daily behavior, toward my child and others. After me telling them numerous times for months and months this is not okay, they still did not take action. I asked to speak with the child's parents and they refused, well never Even cared to get back to me. They had ample time to correct the situation and were well aware of the child's behavior. My last straw was when I picked my daughter up and she had a scratch on her face, lips were scratched up with a huge bubble on them. No one could tell me what happened , the adults at this center asked me to ask my 4 year old what happened. This is the care they provide to young children!! Horrifying to say the least. Alice the owner labeled my daughter sensitive since she would cry at drop off and after pick up in the car. Well if someone was poking at you all day and saying nasty things wouldn't anyone be upset, Especially at four years old. The center also knew my Husband was dying of cancer and he unfortunately has passed. Per a teacher that left they would not console my daughter if she talked about her Father and was upset they would leave her by herself. Another huge wow of failure from the adults. Lastly, the teachers come and go every few weeks. Oaks had the potential to be great but failed miserably. My child was taken out by me because the other child I guess is allowed to run the show and do whatever she pleases to whoever. Isn't that a great lesson to teacher both children I'm this situation . Thankfully my child is thriving at her new school and lis safe and back to herself. Don't be fooled like I was. Oh and good luck getting a conference with your child's teacher after asking for a month it still never happened.

We previously had our son enrolled in another Goddard school, but when we moved to Collegeville,…read morethis location was more convenient. This location is not owned by the same person, and BOY does it show! Everyone we've interacted with has been absolutely wonderful. We were on the waiting list for 8 months, but it was worth the wait. We immediately saw the difference, between the amount of time the kids spend outside or in the gym, (yes, there's a gym with a rock climbing wall!!!), the cleanliness of the class rooms, kitchen, etc... They had a back to school picnic with activities, face painting, a bounce house and water ice truck which gave us the opportunity to meet other parents. My son also LOVES McKenzie, he actually sings her name on the way there in the morning. Also, I'm pretty neurotic, so I appreciate that the teachers send us multiple photos per day. If you get on the wait list, stay on it. It's worth the wait!!

With a $600.00 per month tuition, you would expect more. He managed to have 5 different teachers in that time frame and when we asked the teachers "why" they were leaving, some said, "we aren't being paid enough". Really, with a tuition as high as this, where is all this money going? I was appalled at the lack of control they had over the classroom. It looked like a circus when I went to pick him up. I can tell you that there are smaller, more affordable options in the area and my son learned so much more there. I had been warned about Goddard Schools how you're just a number and everyone was so right. Obviously this is not my real name so I can tell you that I am being totally honest with this review. As you can see the response was a typical one from this facility.
