Bottom line..., maybe they're not top of the line professional masseuses here yet. But, there's something to be said about a student who is doing everything they can to get better at their craft. I'd take someone not as experienced who genuinely cared about what I needed over a professional masseuse going through the motions every time. Of course, if you don't get that student, I'm sure the experience is different. I was fortunate enough to get a great student. She didn't rush one bit, had excellent technique, and took care of my pains. I left feeling much better than I walked in. In fact, she was so into what she was doing, I believe she gave me extra time. I paid for a 60 minute. I of course was not paying attention to my time (how can you when you're in La La Land). Apparently neither did she as I was on the table for a good 75 minutes, as I checked the time at the end. They didn't charge me more, so it's a score I suppose. I wound up late for my next errand as a result. Somehow, I didn't seem to care.
