They kept my boat for almost a month and I had to threaten to come pick it up before they paid any attention to it. They performed unauthorized maintenance that I refused to pay for. Never found the oil leak, but managed to find $500 in other little things. My 14 yr old later found the leak by watching for just a few minutes. They left the outboard a rusty/oily mess from the tank they had it in and a a cat made a mess of the inside of my boat during the extended stay. Stan is not the man. Stay away if you ask me.

He…read moreperformed this in my driveway. 1st of summer, '25, I was headed in for a huge back surgery and told him he could repair the water in the tank issue (Joe Pool Lake Marina) and take his time and I told him he could have it for 3 months. I originally given him a tarp to cover it while he was repairing it at his home and told him to make sure he kept it covered. 3 months later I was ready to fish, but it took a few weeks of dailycalls, and numerous promises and times, and a total of 13 weeks before I happily saw my pontoon back in it's slip. My boat was pretty....it had been detailed, but after he launched it for me, I found new problem after problem: water in the Nav. window. Water in the Tach window. Two upholstery bench seats stitchings blown out. Water was 4-5" deep in a couple of the storage areas, including my glove compartment where my trolling motor remote was. He said it was kept covered and not subject to water. So, with the floors clean, and the remaining interior issues, I can only assume his detail guy powerwashed the upholstery and dash. He wanted to see what I was talking about, so he met me at my boat and promised to come back to repair....but have I heard from him? Nope.
