I've known several kids who've had wonderful experiences there, and return year after year. Many have gone on to become mentors and leaders at the ranch and in their communities. It was our first time coming to Topgolf and we didn't get instructions but we figured it out pretty quickly. There's some golf clubs, including several various options, both short and tall. There are also can't miss clubs, which was a nice option for the kids. You select a game on the screen (angry birds and sonic are a few options), approach the little green patch, swing your club over a light that pops out a ball. We did find someone to request left handed clubs for one of my kids which was readily met. We all enjoyed hitting the balls, especially my 7 year old (and husband). For the event, they had buffet style food which was good for kids, okay for adults. Finger type foods like quesadillas, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, and tater tots. Service for drinks was a little slow but they were busy. It's a little chilly but they did have some heaters. Still, most of my family was most comfortable in our coats. It would be a fun activity for a date night. It is expensive though so I would try to go on a day or time of day they have deals (there are at least a few). My son now wants to have his birthday party here in the spring so we likely will be back!
