This was the absolute worst experience I've had at a restaurant ever. If I could I would leave 0 stars. My fiancé and I love Mexican. They served the smallest chimichanga I've ever seen. When I politely asked them to send it back so I could order something different because they said they couldn't do anything. That was NOT allowed. When I asked for a manager the manager (who was also the owner) said she could offer was a side of cheese. They were so rude and said I through my food at them. The food is still completely intact sitting infront of me. It was a complete lie. I called them out on it and they said nothing. This place has the worst values of any restaurant I have ever seen. I enjoyed their cheese dip and chips, I am very picky with the chips bc I think they determine how good a Mexican restaurant is. The tacos were okay. 7/10 My son got a burrito and he enjoyed it 9/10 I also got a chicken quesadilla, I really enjoyed that one 10/10 wasn't too greasy Their guacamole was a 6/10, I didn't really like it. 3 meals made incorrectly after asking 3 times still no replacements no silverware no plates. Had to ask for salt 3 times. 30 min later children falling asleep hungry..... queso was like white velveta cheese lumpy. No refils on children drink or water. And yes, I have the receipts of how you tried to double bill. In speaking to the supervisor she wants those copies and I am gladly going to oblige by sending her those copies of the receipts. This place is well decorated it with the Mexican flag colors all around it, there is also an outside patio with lights at night looks pretty cool. This rating is for the drinks. The drinks were very, very good. If you're looking for good drinks that are tasty and strong you'll enjoy your time. The food on the other hand needed some work. The chicken in my tacos needed more season and the meat was dry. I requested some sauce to give it a little boost and was given a hot and spicy sauce that I couldn't even enjoy. This happened after I asked if the toppings on the taco I ordered were spicy indicating I was not interested in anything spicy. Our family enjoyed this place so much we came twice on our one week vacation. The Mexican Waters were suggested & a delicious drink after a long day out. Queso was good & honestly the service was top notch. Our waitress was attentive and everyone was very kind. I actually wasn't a fan of my salsa verde enchiladas but everyone else enjoyed their dishes--quesadillas, Chimichangas, enchiladas trio, etc. It was also one of the more affordable places to eat out we went to. After reading some of the somewhat negative reviews about service and the food. We decided to try it out for ourselves. Went on a Friday night around 9pm. We're seated right away. Our server was great, unfortunately I forgot his name. The chips and salsa at the table was fresh and great! The entrees came out pretty quickly. I personally had the green burrito with steak. The steak was so tender and out together that was an amazing burrito! The rice that came with it had so much flavor I couldn't stop eating it! The other meals my family had were all delicious. I have driven by this place for years but we usually pass it up because they close at 10 on Thursdays, which is usually a bit early for our schedule. Working on earning my Yelp Mexi-can badge, I was in hot pursuit of a new Mexican place to try, so we decided to stop in for a margarita. The outside is very festive looking with plenty of seating, covered and uncovered. Inside the restaurant, there are plenty of booths and tables. We were seated right away and placed our order for drinks. Our server, Mariana, was friendly, attentive and helpful. The ambiance and music was good so we decided to place food orders. I ordered the fish tacos. Normally, I don't like to order dishes made with tilapia but didn't have any other fish choices here. I ordered it with extra cilantro and chopped onions. The tacos are served on flour tortillas, lots of fish, lettuce, cilantro and onions, along with a plate of rice and beans for $18.99. They served the sauce on the side, which was a chipotle mayo. I think a sour cream sauce, instead of mayo-based would've been better, along with more lime wedges on the side. It needed a bit more spice for me so I asked for options. One of the options was a house-made hot sauce. It was tasty and very spicy, which was perfect for me! My only issue is that she did not tell me the sauce would be an extra $2.99. I probably would've just asked for Valentinas or Tabasco if I had known. One of my friends ordered the Michelada Tequila cocktail for $17.99. It had the wow factor for sure. There were 6 very large shrimp lining the rim with some lime wedges, along with a spicy tamarind candy straw. This is almost a meal and a cocktail in one! My Jalapeño Margarita was spicy. The server warned me of this before I ordered so there were no surprises. It's what I ordered and it was strong and tasty. I finished it to the last drop. It lacked a good visual presentation and di not match the appealing picture on the menu with the umbrella, etc. but was still good. The steak in the fajitas was well-seasoned and cooked just right but everything else that accompanied the dish was just okay (that included the peppers, rice, beans, guacamole, tortillas, etc.). I thought my fish tacos were different. The flavor of the fish was something else. Not good, somewhat bad, but I still ate it. I ordered the fajita tequila and some regular street tacos with just steak and cheese for my son, and spinach dip. I was charged $44 and gave a $6 tip. I never got my Fajitas which pissed me completely off but, I tried my aunt's and it was absolutely terrible!!! The seasoning was non existent and I've never in my life had Mexican rice w/ carrots and peas in it.. like what??? My son threw his food away because it was just that BAD. The spinach dip was nothing but some queso with spinach in it and oily as hell.. wow, can it get any worse?! To add insult into injury, the raggedy cashier never put my order in so when I called to complain, the other lady told me that I was never charged for it and it came up to $34 so I was STILL overcharged and my biggest regret was giving them that tip. My family ordered food as well and no one touched it after the first bite, I don't know who's in that kitchen but I refuse to believe that it's REAL Latinos in there.
