He is the penultimate general contractor with excellent subcontractors, but builds an extra special home above specifications and code and does not cut corners. Have a potential design issue, he has a perfect solution. He has been amazing to work with, keeping us in the loop and responsive to our concerns. We are beyond appreciative and we recommend Michael with the highest rating. BTW, along with Michael, we have had the fortune of working with Scott Marek, architectural design, and Joanie Wyll, Interior design. Keep this triumvirate in mind if you're looking to build a luxury home. 5 Stars without question!

I highly recommend this company for their experience and integrity.

They don't use a professional accountant or accounting system so they always change costs after the fact. The improperly manage their own funds so they don't stick to the original bids and try to get more than what was noted. They regularly were weeks late on everything! The subs would routinely be late, no-show, or do horrible work like with some basic as drawings for a bathroom. Even the most desperate person should steer clear. Couldn't even get a reimbursement on an overpay that they themselves noted was due. Absolute nightmare!!!

I was a licensed General Contractor in California for 14 years in excellent standing with the…read moreContractor's State License Board. When my wife and I decided to move to the Dallas area she chose a home online, sight unseen, that unfortunately was being built by a builder who chose Fuller (there is nothing Premier about them at all) as their General Contractor. To say they are incompetent would be an insult to all the incompetent contractors. Our home, as well as at least three other homes on our street have had more problems than all of the homes I built over 14 years combined. I am not talking about minor cosmetic problems, I am talking about leaking roofs (on all of them), doors that cannot be closed because they were not hung correctly, they made absolutely ridiculous choices, like placing a 40 gallon electric water heater to service half of the bathrooms in a 5,000 sq ft home, using the wrong type of caulk throughout the house, using cheap material throughout. I could go on for days. I am not a big proponent of more regulations but I wish Texas required licensing for General Contractors because it would keep hacks like Fuller from building sub-par custom homes. We have been in this home for 3 years now and I am constantly running into horrible construction. When I went to the BBB Mr. Fuller tried calling me a "racist" despite knowing my wife is a woman of color and we have a mixed race child. If he does that again I promise everyone reading this that he will be sued for defamation of character. His other excuse was that there were "several sub-contractors" building my home, which is always the case on every home built, but Fuller was the "General Contractor", which means they are responsible for confirming the work of their chosen subs is done properly. Either they have no idea how proper construction is done, or they didn't supervise their subs and check their work as they are supposed to do. If you are looking at a home on which Fuller is the GC run the other way. If you are looking for a contractor to do repairs on your home, I strongly advise you do not chose Fuller, as they will likely create more problems than they solve, at best the work will be sub-par and will not hold up over time. If I had the funds I would knock this home to the ground and build it myself, properly like I did over my 14 year career. I do not enjoy disparaging anyone, I am simply trying to help others avoid the misery we have experienced as a result of purchasing a home on which Fuller was the GC.

Honestly, I was a little nervous going into it just because you hear so many stories about contractors, but this turned out way better than expected. From start to finish, I was impressed. From the price to the overall experience. The main thing for me was finding someone who actually knew how to install Hardie the right way, not just say they do. You can tell these guys have worked with it a lot. Everything looks lined up properly and the finish came out really clean. No weird gaps or uneven spots like I've seen on other homes. They also kept things pretty straightforward. Didn't overcomplicate anything, didn't try to upsell a bunch of extras, just focused on getting the job done right. The crew was respectful and didn't leave the place a mess, which I appreciated. Now that it's done, the house just looks a lot sharper. It's one of those upgrades where you notice it every time you pull into the driveway. If you're around Garland and thinking about Hardie siding, I'd definitely at least get a quote from them.
