As time went by custom stock makers started to appear but they mainly offered good looking fancy wood but little in the way of custom fitting. Today there are several custom stock makers but it seems only a few have mastered the arcane art of fitting a stock in a manner that significantly reduces recoil and allows the gun to shoot where the shooter is looking. Over the decades I've been competing with a shotgun I've had quite a few custom stocks made but Wenig has been the best at making a stock that is comfortable for me to shoot and allows me to shoot my best. Someone decided to make an "executive" decision without my consent and switched the order so each rifle was wearing the others new stock. On top of that, the new receivers and barrels both had scratches in the blued finish. Lastly, the guy I talked to one the phone, lied and lied. Basically, since I was pretty meticulous in my initial writeup using serial numbers and such, I proved him wrong. They had to try and make things right. That didn't really work though as one of the new stocks still had proud metal. Total waste of money. I heard this place has really went downhill with the new owners and I didn't know until afterwards. You've been warned.

All the staff are equally trained and qualified to step into any position in case of call outs. The drive thru is always opened. All the staff are very helpful and kind and respectful. They are always fully staffed, compared to big corporate pharmacies that makes a pharmacist work by themselves. Their new clinical pharmacist is just a joy. He is so smart and helpful. Don the owner is a Benton county icon. Did you know that J&D stands for Jesus and Don? Why suffer with long waits and staffing shortages and a corporation that only cares about their profit?
