My daughter and I were visiting from out of town and I accidentally left a very valuable piece of jewelry in the room after our appointment. I did not realize until we were flying out back to Louisiana and called them to see if by chance they saw it and immediately the lady said yes, we have it for you, the client that went in the room after me turned it in (thank God for their honesty) but they did not know who it was for until I called. I asked if they would be willing to ship it back to me if I paid for it and they agreed. They have kept in constant contact with me the entire time and even paid for extra insurance on the package for me just to be on the safe side. THERE ARE STILL HONEST, GOOD PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND THE OWNERS OF ROSE HEALTH SPA ARE SOME OF THEM! I hope their business continues to prosper!

It looked like a tiny massage place from the outside, but when I knocked I was pleasantly surprised -- the interior is beautiful, serene, and immaculately clean. I immediately booked a 90-minute massage. The price was incredible: their cash rate shows $80 for one hour, but I booked a 90-minute session and paid only $120 (plus tip) -- an absolute steal that felt like a $150 experience. The massage itself was outstanding: skilled, attentive, and perfectly tailored to my needs. Each treatment room is individualized and thoughtfully arranged, and the whole operation felt extremely professional. If you get the chance, book ahead -- Rose Health Spa is a hidden gem in Chinatown and a must-visit for anyone looking for top-quality care at an amazing value. Highly recommend!

I felt like a whole new person walking out of there. They work on everything from your feet to your entire body, and the head massage was AMAZING. I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. They don't rush through the massage, and you can really feel the difference. My sister and I left feeling so relaxed. If you're debating whether to book the 90 minutes, DO IT. Definitely worth it, and I would go back again! The owner, the workers were so kind I cannot ! The space was soo clean and calm exactly what we needed!

We only ended up here because we booked the wrong spot but since we did, we said, "Let's just try them out. We came in and were told to sit in the front area chairs. They basically just kind of pat you and massage in-line w/ someone who didn't massage professionally. 1 hr massage, $118 total $59/each CASH terrible massage. Worst money spent on a massage service. The masseuses were talking the entire time, stepped away to do other things such as intake walk ins and phone calls etc. all in all paid for 1 hour but got about 30 min of a "massage" fully clothed with jacket on lmao. The front door was also kept open and the staff kept going in and out and there is NO peacefulness here. Honestly, I would never return. Complained that we didn't tip enough and they wanted a 20% tip on top of the cash payment. Like a demand really but i gave the gentlemen a look like TF??! And he said ok ok that's good $20 they barely deserved $1 tip. Steer clear is my recommendation.

The tables were very nice and large, pretty comfortable. I'd like to have had a cushion for larger busty women. This would make it much more comfortable. The massage therapist switched a couple of times. This was somewhat interruptive. I felt a lot of time was spent on the upper back, and some on the legs. By the time we were told to turn over, the massage was over within 5-7 minutes. Also, when getting the rocks, or additional oil, it was quite noisy. It disrupted the calm peaceful environment. One technician felt more experienced than the other. Mine had a very light touch. Overall, it was average.

I haven't been in quite some time, but I had been gifted a Groupon that I needed to use before it expired, and since my regular massage therapist (at a different business) was away for a month, I decided to cash in my voucher. This massage was nothing like the previous ones I had received from Beacon Massage. For one thing, a good 15 minutes of my allotted massage time was spent on a lecture about my posture, my sleeping position, my stance, and my exercise habits. If I had wanted such advice, I would have gone to my chiropractor or my doctor. Second, a good 10 minutes was spent with the massage therapist seeing how "uneven" my body was, which required me to be on the bed in my clothes while I was told that one leg was slightly longer than the other, one hip was higher than the other, etc. Very strange. Third, I had asked for a focus on my upper back and instead most of the massage was spent on my arms. When I opened my eyes to peak at the clock, 15 minutes had gone of just arm work! I was told to flip to my front for only 10 minutes of back work (remember, 25 minutes had been spent on a lecture and fixing my "unevenness". After leaving the room, I was treated to another lecture about my posture and how I shouldn't ask for back work, and then the massage therapist immediately asked how I wanted to tip. I always tip, but I still find it rude to ask outright about it, especially after having just lectured me on things you think I need to correct in my life. I'm very disappointed by this massage, especially since I previously had some decent ones from Beacon Massage. I visited for a relaxation massage, but instead received a lecture about my body that was pretty condescending and anything but relaxing. I won't be coming back.

Extremely impressed and forever grateful for Gigi's excellent massage and overall service…read more It was a one hour long massage that was focused primarily on my back but she did my entire body. Before we begin she asked for my concerns and where I wanted her to focus. Gigi made sure to not give me a minute less than what I paid for even though I came in a few minutes late which I really appreciated. She used a light oil for the massage and then hot towels to wipe it off at the end. She also used warm pads to keep me cozy while she was massaging other areas. Gigi is friendly and kind, as well as knowledgeable and experienced-- she really knows what she is doing. I love that she stretched me out and bent my arms and legs in the right positions. Her massage is a great combination of firm but careful. I appreciate she is not like other masseuses that only gently knead and not really make a difference or those who only use their forearms and elbows making it painful. Her technique was perfect. This is by far the best massage I've ever received. I will make sure I get a massage by Gigi every month from now on. After just one session, I can move my head and neck more easily and I also realized just how much I needed this. She really cares and is a strong masseuse. For those new to getting a massage, I highly recommend Back Health Care Center. The price is very reasonable especially in comparison to the other places in the area. For reference I was an athlete all my life I go to the gym regularly and I work a desk job for over eight hours a day so I have a high standard and I was very pleased.
