We paid squeejee squad of Des Moines $255 to have the inside and outside of our windows clean but the inside windows were left filthy where the window/doors slides aka the sills. When hiring someone to clean the inside windows, I was under the impression that the entire window would be clean and not the glass only. There are dirty drips on the frames, filth in the spots where the windows slide, dead bugs left on the window sill and they literally just left everything but the glass gross and dirty. The outside windows look great. They were fast and although not on time they communicated that they would be late and when they would arrive. Be sure to keep your quote on hand as they did try to add on an additional $20 for travel on top of the $20 we were already told. If I hadn't printed the quote, we would have paid $40 more than the original quote received. Update: they did offer to come back and do the sills the next time they were in our area. I declined but did appreciate the offer to fix the issue. They explained that sills are $2 per window/sill in addition to the cost of cleaning the glass. If I had known upfront it was glass only, I'd never have hired that part done. Outside the windows were perfect. read more

First of all...there are 14 other 5 star reviews on the second page for this business, reviews that yelp doesn't recommend because this business probably doesn't pay the toll yelp requires for them to put those reviews up front (I have no relationship with this business BTW). And it looks like one of the reviews they DO show, is a homeowner from Illinois that used some other franchise. Just had to get that out because its unfair to this company. Anyway......they came out and cleaned gutters and downspouts, were prompt--actually arrived a bit early, and did a good job. I had gone on Angi's list to get quotes and their quote was reasonable. Had a couple other quotes about the same, but a couple were quite a bit higher. They cleaned up all the debris from the gutters and took it away. Totally satisfied. read more

Last week I called Squeegee Squad based on Google reviews. I spoke with the owner, Leonard, and he said that he would be in my neighborhood that afternoon, would stop by, walk around my house to look at windows and call me back with a bid. He didn't call. I waited a few days and called back. This time his wife answered and said they were driving and when they stopped she would have Leonard find my bid and call me. It has been two days and they haven't called. There is nothing unusual about my house and I live in a nice neighborhood so I'm left wondering why they didn't want my business. An explanation would have been appreciated. Very poor way to run a business. read more

This company may be fine for commercial but do not let them in your home!! They got the carpet filthy, they scratched the woodwork, they broke a windwow, and it goes on and on with the terrible customer service, lack of follow up and the owners BAD attitude.
