I recently hired Squeegee Clean (SqueegeeCleanMN.com) for window and gutter cleaning, drawn by my desire to support local, small business. Unfortunately, my experience didn't meet expectations, and I'm left feeling disappointed with both the quality of the work and the response to my concerns. While the gutters were accessed, one of the high gutters with a screen was left full of box elder seeds lodged along the entire length of the screen. Although Mr Redden assured me that the gutter itself was clear, he insisted that removing visible debris from the screen was not his responsibility, despite this debris potentially causing future clogs. Additionally, the second-floor windows were not thoroughly cleaned, which I'd expected would be addressed as part of the service. When I asked a standard question about insurance coverage, Mr Redden responded by accusing me of being 'okay with him falling off the roof.' When I raised my concerns about the quality of the work, he claimed I was the 'only client who's ever complained,' which felt dismissive rather than helpful. Mr. Redden left the property without honoring his guarantee of customer satisfaction. Overall, I expected a more thorough service, especially with a satisfaction guarantee. Clearer communication about the scope of work, along with a more respectful and professional response to concerns, would have gone a long way. read more

Hunter came to our place twice. Initially we hired him for gutter cleaning. He showed up on time, was courteous and professional. I am not an expert on gutters but they were not leaking sideways after he left, which is definitely better than before! He suggested we did some power washing in the patio and deck. Since I liked his demeanor, we scheduled fir today and he cleaned both. This time I can comment on the results - the areas were substantially cleaner, much nicer to see. His demeanor one more time was cordial and professional. In conclusion, judging by these two visits, I am comfortable recommending Hunter, and will be happy to hire him again. read more
