BEWARE - Poor Business Practices at Take 5 Car Wash…read more On July 31, 2025, I went through the Take 5 Car Wash at 6045 Folsom Dr. in Beaumont, TX, and the machine ripped the secure, undamaged cover off the spare tire mounted on the back of my 2012 Rav4. As I pulled into the vacuum area, I noticed the cover missing, only to see another car rolling over it and dragging it, causing further damage. I immediately reported the incident. Tyrone, a kind and helpful employee, took a report and stated that he felt that there was no reason they wouldn't cover the damage. He also mentioned that a new employee had been working the entry and probably failed to press the code indicating that my vehicle had an external tire cover, something that should have alerted the system and prevented this exact issue. No one followed up. I returned on August 5 to request a claim number and was told a manager would contact me. No one did. Today, I received notice that my claim was denied based on the age of my car, claiming "rust and deterioration" were the cause, not their equipment. This is simply not true. The tire cover was in excellent condition with no rust, no metal involved, and it fit tightly. I have photos, and I still have the damaged part. According to a local Toyota parts department, the replacement cost is approximately $380--money I'm now expected to pay due to their mistake. Shame on Take 5 for poor follow-up, false claims, and refusal to take responsibility. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to beware.

The response I received was that it was raining "here" and that was why they were waiting. No location, no updated arrival time, and no communication before the appointment time. The issue wasn't the weather. The issue was the lack of communication. A mobile car wash business deals with weather every day. A simple message before the scheduled appointment time would have avoided wasting a potential future lifelong customer's time as this was our first appointment. After I explained that my concern was the lack of communication, I received an "understand" response, but no apology for the lack of notice or communication. As I'm writing this review almost two hours after the appointment time, it still has not rained at the service location. Communication matters.

The only downside that prevents 5 stars is that the vacuums do not have any shade over them (unlike EVERY other wash in town), making vacuuming out your car when it is sunny out a very HOT activity. DO NOT GO HERE I have been going here for at least 8 years…read more I have always had a decent experience, but today is the day that they have lost my business. The way that management handles issues is unacceptable. I just purchased a new car a week ago, and decided to go here for my first car wash. After going through the tunnel, I got out to vacuum and realized that my license plates, frame, and bolts had been ripped off the back of my car. I went back around to the check-in kiosk to tell them about the issue and showed them pictures of my license plate. The manager looked very inconvenienced that he had to go look for it, which I understand, but he came back with SOMEONE ELSE'S LICENSE PLATE that apparently also got torn off. I told him that it was not mine, and he went off to look for it again. He only came back with the license plate, but the bolts and frame were still missing. So I was very nice, said thank you for looking, and I drove off. I quickly drove back around and politely asked the attendant if I could get a refund, since my plate was torn off and I didn't receive half of the parts I came there with. I was going to have to order new materials, since I cannot drive around with no back plate. She went off to ask him, and they spoke for a long time before she came back and told me that they cannot offer a refund. He walked to the car and just stared into my car, saying nothing, looking annoyed. She told me that they can only offer a VIP package. The manager told the attendant to ask me AGAIN for pictures of what the license plate looked like attached to my car BEFORE the incident, as if he didn't believe me. Even though he personally handed me the license plate after looking for it in the car wash tunnel. He then continued to talk to the attendant (NOT ME), and I heard him say something about it's not his fault if the car gets damaged, and he continued to stare me down. Finally, the girl gave me $8 cash, and I got to leave. I understand situations like this happen, and it was a machine error, but this hasn't happened in my 9 years of owning a vehicle. The other issue I have with this is that I never once spoke directly with the manager; he spoke through the employee who was checking everyone in to get a car wash. I also get that it's $8, but it's the principle, and that he handled the situation so poorly and offered no accountability, or even a single word. So long story short, I don't recommend this car wash. And the management needs major improvement.

I came here today because I needed an interior detail due to traveling with toddlers on Saturday and mind you it still was not to clean. It's just me now so I figured let me go get a quick interior detail since I was solo now and when I arrived I explained to the sweet lady in the box office what I wanted and she recommended the super clean package and said it was $60 but $10 extra because it's a bigger suv so in total it was $70. They advertise if you get the super clean package they will vacuum the interior through all the cracks and crevices and even the seats underneath will be blown with air from the air compressor. They will disinfect and degrease all plastic and leather surfaces, so if that's the case why is there still so many areas in my vehicle that seem to not even be attempted to be cleaned. Not only that why did my car come with new areas of paint chipped and a new door ding!!! I want to speak to a manager for a refund but there is no info on who to contact. Overall I would not recommend this place and I'm so disappointed I put my trust in them. I still have many pictures but I'll just add the ones that really stood out for me.

I did call and lady answered the phone and I asked to speak to a manager about the unsatisfactory car wash for $85 I had just received within an hour and she said he wasn't available but you can leave your name and number and she will give it to him and he will give a call back. It's been 13 days later, still no call back. Even called this morning about 10:30am no answer. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET PREMATURELY HAND WASH AND MANAGEMENT NOT GIVE TWO CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, THEN GO HERE, THEY DISAPPOINT. THATS FOR SURE.
