Like other companies, they were prompt at coming to the house and providing a quote. Price wise, their quote was in the middle of the other vendors. One of the reasons I selected them is their communication, availability, and reasonable/competitive price. I was also impressed their quote included the exact same items that my "initial selected vendor" provided. A Better Way did not have the adjusters findings, but their quote covered all the adjuster had listed. That was affirmation to me that A Better Way is thorough. I did some research by looking at reviews, checking BBB, and requesting insurance coverage for the companies. Even though A Better Way is fairly new (I think April 2024), that did not scare me off. My thinking is that a new company would be inclined to do a great job to develop a good reputation as they grow. I was impressed with my communication with Hollis who answered my questions and shared his knowledge. We talked about pros and cons of options with a focus on the prevalent and variable weather in OK City. I wanted to have the roof installed prior to the end of the year. We set an appointment for the day after Christmas. The crew showed up and started the work around 7:30 a.m. My tenant said there were A LOT of workers, maybe 7 or 8 people. This made the installation go quickly. I think it was because possible rain was in the forecast. I definitely appreciate they were completed before the light rain started. Overall, I am happy with my interactions with A Better Way and the installation of the roof. I would easily recommend their roofing services.

Had a 16 x 40 built. Had to pay second halve upon delivery of materials and work began. In one…read moreweek they worked maybe 5 hours. Not all the materials were delivered. They trickled in at each stage but the check was cashed fast. Very Shoddy work. The first contractor was shown a diagram to put the the door 4 foot off the south end. He put it one foot off. They did finally fix that. Second crew actually worked but not well. Light was coming in between the wall and the roof line in numerous areas. Was told this was normal. Roof decking was too short to go to the wall so they cut pieces to fill in that space and still did not cut them right. So in the pics you can see the light coming through. They did cover these areas with felt and shingles. And claim it will not leak. In one pic you can see the gap between the decking and the trim board on the roof. My neighbor said that will cause leaks if they don't put flashing or board there. They refused said it did not need it. They refused to acknowledge the poor carpentry and would not do any additional work. Still claiming it will not leak. You get what you pay for. But we really did not expect this.
