Chris gave us a VERY good price to replace the kitchen floor in our mobile home that one person in my family already stepped thru. It was dangerous, Chris and his son made it safe for our family. He gave us quotes for other work at a later time and so far I have seen no one else beat his quotes. Talk about exceeding expectations! Wow! We just bought a house and the floors were trashed - maple, with a super shiny glossy finish and you could see a million scratches, sun bleached boards in some places, and we hated them. At first we wanted to sand and stain them a darker color, but Chris, being the expert, explained how "blotchy" they'd turn out if we did that because of the type of wood the floors are! He was the only flooring professional who gave us the heads up on that front - I would have been so disappointed had I gone through with a darker stain. I really appreciate his honest & straightforward approach. He sanded off the top layer, filled in almost every single scratch to perfection, (you can't even see where the deep ones were!) and then put a vinyl/satin coat on top so that they look like new - and I love the way they came out. We couldn't be more pleased. Now I just don't want anyone walking on my beautiful floors - lol. Great job done by Chris - he responded to my initial call with questions promptly. When I explained the job he requested to see the quality of the existing wood floor before committing to the work. What a professional! He kept this appointment and went over our expectations of the finished product. He was informative and realistic as to the time required to do the job. The project started as planned and he kept to the schedule- each day he would outline the work being performed, how many hours it would take and when they would start/end the next day. I liked knowing what to expect every day. They showed up on time each day! He closed off the work area ( great room & kitchen) during the project, covered my counters, sealed off my cabinets and all windows/ shutters. The prep work alone was impressive. What a dusty, smelly project - but the 20 yr. old maple flooring is refinished and looks amazing. Thankfully he was able to replace a few damaged boards as we had some in reserve and remove several deep scratches and wear.
