She was strategic, thoughtful, and genuinely focused on what was best for me and my children. Because of her guidance, I was able to secure 50% custody of my boys, which means everything to me. What truly sets her apart is her integrity. She never once tried to run up my bill or create unnecessary work. Instead, she was efficient, honest, and respectful of both my time and finances. She was also always available when I needed her -- responsive, calm, and reassuring during what was easily one of the most stressful periods of my life. Beyond being an exceptional attorney, she is someone I now consider a friend. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication made a difficult journey manageable, and I will always be grateful for her support. He takes the time to understand your background and the key issues for the case. Then he provides options for how you can proceed along with his recommendation. What I found especially valuable was his knowledge of the other lawyers and judges in both cases - and his personal history working cases with each. I also appreciated that he was willing and able to pursue a range of strategies ( from conciliatory to aggressive ) - and that his history of going to trial and winning cases was able to lead to a faster, less expensive, less emotionally exhausting agreement both times. Joe selects the cases he will take, and pursues a lighter load so that he is able to provide closer support and attention to the cases he does take. I found this a differentiator from the other attorneys and firms I also explored. For family law in Orange County, I cannot recommend him enough.
