I don't often leave reviews (and this is my first non-restaurant review) but a 5 star review is…read morewell-deserved here. For some context, I stumbled across Ben after seeing a reddit post recommending prenup lawyers in CA and ended up hiring Ben to draft a prenup. He was fantastic and all his positive reviews are well-deserved - from the beginning, he was fantastic, patient, answered my questions clearly with excellent reasoning, responsive, and was a great person to interact with. I also wanted to add that I'm a lawyer myself, so have some extra insights which might help anyone reading this review - these will also indirectly address the two sole negative yelp reviews I saw. In my opinion, it can be really hard for regular people to find a great lawyer at an affordable price, and Ben is definitely that. My experience with Ben was that he really knew his stuff - I was doing my own separate research and reading relevant statutes/case law, plus carefully reviewing the contract of course, and everything he said was spot on. Unfortunately, you won't get that level of quality legal knowledge with every lawyer out there - and if you have a nuanced situation, random internet research won't be as helpful as a great lawyer who spends time researching and analyzing your specific situation. This leads me to another point: Ben struck me as the kind of lawyer who is willing to tell you things that you may not want to hear, and that is exactly the kind of lawyer you want. In my opinion, there are some lawyers out there that will tell their clients things to get more money, for example by leading their clients to believe they have a better case than they actually do to get more legal fees. My impression of Ben is that he's not like that, and that's why I have and will continue to recommend him to any of my friends that want a prenup or any of the services he offers (in fact, one friend also hired him for drafting their prenup as well). All in all, I don't think you'll go wrong in hiring Ben and hope that this review helps out others who read it.

TRUST! Expert knowledge. Professional. Humble Butt-kicker. Jedi…read more Those are my word choices reflecting back on how I feel about Brian Bayati. Not your average review for a WAY above average legal pro. Here's my experience with Brian's performance. After firing my first lawyer due to the fees not adding up to the work supposedly done, I sought much better counsel. No one wins in divorce. No one. Given the complexities of my case, Brian was recommended by a huge, well-known, multi-lawyer OC firm, but I wanted skilled one-on-one service with master-level guidance. Though my divorce could have been easier, the Ex did financial shenanigans going back 10+ years that without Brian's smart and strategic, surgical approach, would have cost me a lot more in real money, stress, and outcome. His 360 degree awareness, proactive chess-master anticipation of the "other side's" tactics, and hate-to-pay-it-but-damn-glad-I-did reasonable fee structure all added-up to me feeling absolutely assured I had someone in my corner that sincerely had my back. He genuinely cares and proves it in the work. Brian, if you see this, you know I hope to never use you again! ;) But damn, brother, I'm so glad I hired you!! Keep up the stellar expertise and outcomes.

He went in depth with the response, citing cases and applicable laws regarding the laws affecting this matter. It was truly complete and I believe the response was approximately 15 pages. The judge had to review the factual response and it was irrefutable. The court agreed with Mr. Stivers response and ruled in my favor. My opinion is that the response Mr. Stivers submitted covered all legal bases, and provided other similar rulings in similar cases. I believe this was the difference between having a ruling in my favor and losing with a ruling not in my favor. Mr. Stivers is a highly competent attorney. I strongly recommend Mr. Stivers and believe he will give you the best opportunity for fairness and success in court.

After working with two other attorneys before him, I can confidently say John was the best decision I made. John is direct, efficient, and does not waste your time or your money. He's not cheap, but he is absolutely worth it. His experience in family law and deep knowledge of the Orange County court system and judges truly matters. He is highly respected by other attorneys and by the judges themselves. On more than one court appearance, the judge commented that I had a very good lawyer. John has over 30 years of experience, and it shows in the courtroom. He is calm, prepared, and incredibly sharp. He remembers details, stays steady under pressure, and knows what actually works in court. You'll get clear, honest advice, timely responses directly from him, and a lawyer who focuses on results instead of promises. He's not there to hand-hold or provide emotional reassurance, and that's a good thing. If you want emotional support, get a counselor. If you want someone who knows how to navigate a high-conflict divorce and get results, hire John. I spent far more money on "cheaper" attorneys before finding him. In the end, John saved me time, money, and stress. I'm genuinely grateful for John's work and professionalism, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone facing a complex or high-conflict divorce.

Presence. Persistence. Professionalism…read more When I found myself in the throes of a wicked divorce, I felt helpless and had no idea what to do. I was up against an unreasonable opponent who had no problem stooping to low levels, backed by an army of cheerleaders and sycophants. With what felt like impending insurmountable defeat, I started shopping around for help. In comes Pouya. Presence: Should you find yourself in the courtroom, this is the guy you want next to you on the bench. He spares the theatrics and comes prepared with facts and case studies. Rather than reduce his talent to mud slinging and soap opera drama, Pouya stands tall with confidence in the arguments prepared. The language he uses is accurate and concise, spoken with the authority of an attorney who is knowledgeable. Pouya dresses well and makes sure that his materials are organized. The man oozes confidence and is a courtroom force for sure! Persistence: Nothing can sway Pouya. Knowing what the marching orders were, he did not back down to other bullies - in or out of the courtroom. Pouya stays on top of deadlines, follows up with opposing counsel, and sees the case from a logical perspective. Using a simple combo of logic and calmness, responses to opposing counsel were always sound and airtight. There was never an instance I thought we would falter. Professionalism: At the end of the day, it takes more than being a bulldog with a loud bark to succeed and this is where Pouya shines. From inception of the case to its completion, I nearly forgot that I wasn't Pouya's only client, he was that attentive. As an inexperienced client, of course I'd have a litany of questions and concerns. It was no challenge for Pouya to put them all to rest, even the seemingly stupid questions. Although the lawyer-client boundary was clear and professional, Pouya still made sure to call me out on my own bs and advise when I may or may not have an unreasonable expectation. This kind of attention kept us on track to a very successful outcome. His response times are very quick, his knowledge in his craft is very far reaching, and he carries himself as any self-respecting lawyer should. Sure, I had a lot of honesty and integrity to help my case. I kept great records and had mountains of evidence at the ready. One thing I've learned from this process is that NONE OF THAT MATTERS without the right representation. There is no doubt in my mind that the successful (and favorable!) closure of my divorce was a direct result of Pouya's intervention. With the greatest respect, I would hope to never need him again. But if the need arises, Nowzaree Law is my first pick, without hesitation. Shout out to his phenomenal staff as well. You're not just getting one lawyer, you're getting a well experienced team. Francine and Jill have been an absolute delight to work with throughout the process.
