Although I would not consider my situation to be extremely complex, I did have variables that I believed required a particular expertise. After 5 months with no temporary support in place my collaborative attorney directed me to hire a litigator. Very disappointing I was looking for an expert in a particular section of family law. You're required to tell your story and give all the information to a paralegal who then consult with the attorney and gets back to you. It was confusing but apparently a phone conversation with the attorney was free but then you had to have a consultation which you have to pay for. After several days I was told they were too busy to take my case more likely it's complicated and it's not the easy cookie cutter one that you can bill for a lot of money read more
