We were in the Paris district of Pigalle and were walking back towards Champs-Elysées. This park was in the way to our hotel and we walked through it. It's open from sunrise to sunset for the public. There were many locals and tourists walking/running. Some people with carry-ons, others walking after work to go home etc. Just different people in the outdoor environment. Parc Monceau is well maintained with nice walkways, variety of statues to sightsee, pretty flowers and trees throughout. Overall, if you live near it or visiting near by, stop by and get your walk on. They also have benches to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.~

There is a lot benches to sit on and enjoy the view. This is not a touristy place. Here you can find people jogging, playing with kids, having picnic, doing photoshoots, relaxing and even getting tanned during hot summer days. Claude Monet painted several views of this park, which can be found at the Met in New York.

(plural) It features the phrase, "I love you" in many different languages. On 5.11.26, it was still being repaired, so the English phrase was blocked from view. Maybe when we visit again, we'll be able to see it! Notes: we found free street parking a couple of blocks away. On the way to The Wall, we passed many shops and a carousel!

It is a small but meaningful landmark tucked inside Square Jehan Rictus, just steps from the Abbesses metro station. The installation is composed of deep blue tiles covering an entire wall with the phrase "I love you" written in more than 250 languages. Seeing the same message expressed in so many languages creates a simple but powerful visual statement about love and connection across cultures. The design is minimalist but thoughtful. The white handwritten text contrasts beautifully with the dark blue background, while small red fragments scattered across the wall symbolize pieces of a broken heart that humanity can reunite through love. Although the site itself is not large, it carries a quiet charm that fits perfectly with the artistic atmosphere of Montmartre. Visitors often stop to find their own language on the wall or take photos in front of the installation. Overall, the Wall of "I Love You" is a small but memorable stop in Paris. It may not take long to visit, but it captures a poetic and symbolic moment that reflects the romantic spirit often associated with the city.

I tried going to HintHunt with some friends on a recent trip but I ran into a few obstacles that made this difficult, mostly with their online booking site: 1. The site has detailed descriptions of escape rooms, but the rooms you can actually book are different and they don't all have descriptions. 2. Some of the games are at one HintHunt location, and other ones are at a different location nearby, but the website doesn't make this clear. 3. My group only spoke English, and it's not clear whether all of the escape rooms offered on the website are available in English. I think I finally figured out that all of their games are available in English, but I'm still not sure. When you book a room online, it isn't clear whether you're booking it in English or in French. 4. I tried emailing customer support but I never received a reply. I tried going to one of the HintHunt locations to ask these questions and book it directly there, but the person there said it could only be handled through the website. HintHunt sounded like fun, but we ended up doing something else instead.

At first I was a bit hesitant as I thought with it being in Paris the clues might all be in French or the English translations might make it difficult for us to actually escape but I was wrong. The staff were excellent at explaining the concept and rules of the game. We were a group of 16 and were split in to three teams in different rooms. It was great to be able to compete against the other teams. I don't want to give away the game too much but it was a murder mystery theme and there were loads of really cool mini challenges within the rooms. I have done this sort of thing before but this seemed really well thought out. The game master was great - any time we were off the beaten track he pointed us in the right direction without completely giving everything away - top marks! After you escape or don't escape you can take pictures against a branded back drop and make use of the photo props which we had fun doing.

Build (or rather completed) 2014 in a rather wealthy part of town, the whole 'centre sportif beaujon' (also features indoor wall-climbing!) is still very new so the pool is absolutely modern and up to standard. There are two basins, both stainless-steel, one 25x12 Meters and the other 12x10. The small one is very shallow, warm and equipped with water jets for massage in different heights and intensities. Also some underwater seats and lounge-chairs - again with water jets for massage. The pool has big windows on two sides (one towards the south) and in Summer you can even step outside a bit for some fresh air and some Sun. Showers are visible from the pool (which is good in terms of hygiene because the Lifeguards can check that everybody takes a shower before getting into the water) , but there are also two lockable shower-cabins for those who like their privacy. Cleanliness was good when I was there despite the pool being quite full, the staff was friendly and the changing cabins are decent in size. A couple of showers were broken when I was there, but at least they were marked as being broken - in other parisian public pools it is usually up to you find out which ones work and which not. I call it shower bingo and there usually are no winners in this game. Negatives? For frequent swimmers like myself any 25 Meter basin is too short to get some decent milage done - but for what it is - Piscine Beaujon it is quite perfect.
