Derelict buses that will leave you broke down on the side of the road. SQ canceled our big bus less than 2 hours before pickup because the A/C wasn't working, and sent two smaller buses. So first issue was dividing the party into two, which was disappointing for everyone. After getting several updates on arrival time for second bus, and not showing up when said, the 2nd bus was an HOUR late. Both buses arrived in HORRIBLE, ratty conditions (inside and out). The 2nd bus began having mechanical issues before they even left the neighborhood! (I'm sure this is why he was late because he knew there were issues and was driving slow to our house but didn't tell us). After breaking down in the neighborhood, he kept driving but drove 30 miles per hour until it fully broke down on the side of the highway. The driver left them on the side of the road. The party on the 2nd bus missed over half the venue time that we were already an hour late for. Half of them took an uber and the other half waited for the first bus to come get them. They didn't have a an extra bus or a large enough bus to take us all home, so some of the party ubered home. My husband spent most of the night on the phone trying to make sure we had a ride home and coordinate things with them. I could go into many more details, but the matter is the company was disorganized, had horribly maintained vehicles, and was not upfront about issues on the second bus. I've asked for a refund, but they are not returning my calls. I wanted to pay for a fun party bus for my friends for my 40th and instead some of my friends were left on the side of the road and had to order ubers. Thankfully everyone is safe, but please save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. You'll likely be canceled on (read yelp reviews, I wish I had) or they'll show up an hour late with a trashed bus that breaks down on the side of the highway. Thank you. read more

Canceled last minute. Left 21 peopl stranded. I would not use them for anything. I think the company is fraudulent. Contacting the better business bureau. Jani the so called manager actually cursed on the phone. So unprofessional. Called and said the party bus The Madhatter we booked wasn't running. Offered a different and smaller party bus we agreed at a discounted rate. And then received a call from the driver saying the new bus was having mechanical issues. They canceled the bus and didn't call. Said they did but didn't. I saw it via email. Unprofessional, fraudulent, and shouldn't be in businessin my option. read more

If I can give a zero to this company, I would give them zero. I DO NOT recommend this company. It's a waste of money. I will never rent a party bus from this company ever again. We rented this party bus for my daughter's 16th birthday last night paid so much money and they people sent us an old raggedy bus with a speaker that doesn't even work well. Then they have the nerve to either cancel it or pay the full amount when we complain about the bus. My husband was turning 70 so I wanted to celebrate him with a party for close friends and family. I rented the Mad Hatter Party Bus from SQ Party Bus, BIG MISTAKE!! The bus was 40 minutes late, which the driver did call and tell me he would be late bc he was having a headlight fixed. When he did arrive, we quickly boarded and i Was immediately disappointed, the bus seemed old and felt dirty. The bottom step was broken and when we took off the exhaust fumes almost asphyxiated us all! Upon arrival at our first destination, I noticed the headlight wasn't fixed (the reason the driver was late in the first place). When ready to leave we couldn't find the bus anywhere and had to wait 10 minutes on him to show up...on to destination #2, again the fumes were horrible and we were 45 min late getting to our next destination, Top Golf. I had paid for two hours but bc we were late arriving we were only allowed the hour and 15 min left on our allotted time. All of this was avoidable if SQ Party Bus had been on time! So I paid dearly for time at Top Golf but my guests were cheated out of the full experience bc the driver was late and I had paid for two hours time of which we only were able to use 1 hour and 15 min! My guests were also treated to a bad experience on a party bus which should have been a fun and pleasant ride, which was neither! When I called to complain, the girl I talked with assured me she would pass the complaint along to her manager, I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM!! I would never recommend this company to anyone! NEVER AGAIN!!!! I will NEVER entrust an event with this company again! I scheduled with this company 2 months prior to my twins' Sweet 16 event. On the day of, an hour prior to pick up, I started getting calls with all types of excuses as to why they were going to be late for pickup. It started with, our original driver was transferred to an earlier party due to a call in, so they had a new driver identified for us on the way. Then the new driver's car broke down on the way to the bus lot, so they needed to send a ride share to pick him up. THEN, they state he is on his way, but in another bus, that was a little more updated, because the bus we reserved didn't have gas in it, and they wanted to save time so that he wouldn't have to stop for gas and further delay arrival, which we are already an hour behind. This was not a new reservation... our bus should have been gassed up and ready to go, but a newer bus, ok. Only to have the driver call and say he needed to pull over because the "newer" bus was smoking and he needed to call the owners to make them aware of the issue. WHAT???? Finally, the owner called to apologize, stating they would not be able to make it, offered to refund my money, and very nonchalantly apologized for the inconvenience and told me to enjoy the remainder of the weekend. How??? I now have 14 teenagers looking at us, like what are we going to do now for the next 4 hours, in addition to not being able to make it to any of our destinations. You only get one Sweet 16 and this company completely failed my twins and their friends and ruined their celebration. They didn't even offer to make it up in the future... NOTHING. I will never entrust an event with this company again. I wish I would have referred to Yelp prior to booking with them, as it seems others have experienced the same issue. Just horrible! read more

Update: Full resolution after five weeks. Wednesday, I filed a claim with Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission. Posted reviews about our experience and sent an e-mail to SQ Party Bus informing them of my plans. Met with my attorney yesterday who advised to file with small claims court. Called SQ again from a different number and Savannah answered and immediately hung up on me again when I said my name. Called back and left a VM that I will be pursuing legal action unless I hear back from Shane with a full refund. Soon after, Shane finally called back. Said he never contacted us because he was "waiting for us to cool off and calm down". He repeatedly denied there was anything wrong with the bus. Kept saying it "literally came out of the shop a week before you used it" and mechanics checked it before it left and it was working fine. He basically said the contract we signed says SQ is not responsible for any mechanical failures/breakdowns and also they are not responsible for the actions of their drivers. The contract is set up like we "hired the driver" and he said we could "sue the driver if we wanted to". He said they have "had this happen three times and all three times the client has lost when they tried to sue". In summary, even though Shane says the company is not responsible for the breakdown of the bus or the negligence of the driver, they would still give a full refund. He did apologize repeatedly for our experience. Please note Shane said they own over 50% of the party bus/limo companies in Atlanta and if you go with a different company, you will still have to deal with him and Savannah... this 'company/owner' owns several companies under different names. Recommend you do your due diligence in researching the company you use and choose one that responds better to bad situations and takes responsibility for their vehicles and their drivers. read more

My team (Chicago Bliss football) and I used this party bus when we flew to Atlanta for our game. Our previous transportation fell thru and SQ was very accommodating. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT BOOK!! My husband booked with SQ Party Bus for my 40th for August 8. Several problems: 1. The AC was not on in the back upon arrival and the bus was extremely hot. Driver said he didn't turn it on yet. En route, still extremely hot in the back and all guests sweating. Told the driver several times to please turn the air on/make it cooler. NO windows and NO AIR in AUGUST! 2. Several times when we opened the partition to talk to the driver, he was actively texting while driving--several witnesses 3. Driver stopped unexpectedly two times to turn around because "lost" 4. Rented the "Picasso" bus-- online says it fits 18-20 people but we were 15 and very very tight and uncomfortable. Online also states "multiple ice-filled coolers" and a TV...no coolers and the TV wasn't working 5. The driver stated he was having a hard time steering and he thought the fan belt was broken. We were stranded outside for over four hours and missed our dinner reservations. The driver kept saying the repair truck/backup bus would arrive in an hour and we waited over four. We would have taken uber or lyft had we know we would be stranded there that long. Got home super late and never got to eat. 6. My husband spoke with the owner Shane using the driver's cell phone and he said he would issue a full refund. My husband has sent two e-mails to Savannah (the Customer Relations Specialist) with no response. I called twice, the first time requesting a call back from Shane with no reply. The second, she hung up on me. I left a voicemail with no response. I just filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will ignore you if you experience any problems. read more

My husband rented a limo bus from this company for homecoming...let me just start at the beginning. The bus we "rented" was displayed as a nice ride; sleek and intact. When they arrived, it was nothing short of embarrassing. It had obviously been wrecked, had scratches and dents all over it. It even had what appeared to be duct tape on the outside of it. It truly was a junk mobile! Not only was I embarrassed as a parent, my kids were embarrassed. Whenever I brought the concern to the company, they told me that the bus had recently been wrecked and was not supposed to be rented out unless it was dark. They assured me that they would make it right. The owner, Shane was a total ass when I talked to him and basically expressed that he didn't care after calling my husband scam artist. What was supposed to be a positive experience for our childrens first homecoming became a disappointment. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! You are not getting what you pay for!! read more

I've had some bad experiences with party buses. Usually trashed and smells like day old party..SQ was was on time, clean, smelled great, drivers were friendly, and worth every penny. My wife enjoyed her birthday. Thanks for getting me out of the dog house SQ. read more
