I got a massage here followed by lunch with my friend. The massage was great; I felt completely relaxed after. The food is fresh and healthy. We ate by the pool outside. It's a very bougie vibe. Everyone is kind and takes care of you. I walked around the whole place to check everything out, and their gym room was super small. It was smaller than a hotel gym, with only a few machines. I also found their website to be not very user-friendly. I had to call to ask about massage pricing and scheduling. Then I found out a bunch of services they have there from the masseuse, which I also didn't see online. The services mentioned are from doctors and therapists that are not part of Spyre, but rent out the upstairs. I think the website could make this clear so that people can create their full-day package. Wouldn't it be amazing to go to therapy and then have a spa day right after? Other than that, some of their pricing is a little outrageous. The hot/cold plunge and sauna were quoted around $40 for half an hour if I remember correctly. I belong to Oschner Fitness, where I can use hot/cold plunge, hot tub, and multiple pools anytime, so this price seemed very high. I guess if you live nearby and don't want to drive and want the serene atmosphere, it could be a nice alternative to a gym with a pool.

Spyre is tucked away on Prytania, and when you first walk in, you immediately step into this calm and peaceful atmosphere. It also smells amazing! I came with a group for swimming and the pool is really nice. Perfect temperature, salt water, very relaxing. Even the ladies restroom/lounge area is nice. The decor was really nice in there and also around the pool. They really do a great job of setting the tone/mood for tranquility.

The building was once the home of a church-- now, a revamped workout center. One of my friends hosted a yoga Welldown Wednesday class here and I attended. This was my first time at Spyre. Spyre Center is aesthetically pleasing and gives such a relaxing vibe. From my understanding there are a variety of classes held weekly ranging from Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, boxing, water aerobics, and many more! Staff was friendly upon arrival. Location is great (Uptown on Prytania). I can definitely see myself going back to take a class.

Easily my favorite place to work out! They have a variety of classes ranging from yoga to HIIT, with some heated classes as well. My personal favorite is the HIIT/Yoga combo with Mark. The facility is well-designed with comfy furniture to relax in after class. Towels and mats are usually available if you happen to forget one. Overall I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff and instructors. Coming from someone who rarely works out, it feels nice to come in once a week to get a good sweat/stretch in. I use classpass but they have membership pricing for additional perks like the pool and other wellness services.

    beautiful group fitness room!

A wellness center that has it all -- doctors, fitness classes, meditation, saunas, pool, reiki -- incredible place.

I had heard a lot about TM over the years and went to a free session a few years ago. It took me a…read morewhile but I was finally able to go through the process and it has been wonderful. Its a simple concept that can and will have a positive impact on a person's life. The TM space itself isn't in the best location but it is in a safe area. The location is less of a meeting place and more of a place to get instruction, so it isn't a place to "hang out in" and so its fine. The instructors have all been very nice and welcoming. The intro course is sort of sales-ish but the instructors are not sales people, they are just people that practice TM and so are really there to explain the process and not sell you anything. They don't really know how to sell, but the course isn't free, so it feels kinda awkward at first. But while it is a simple process, you do need a guide to assist you when you start. If you want to take the training there will be four classes over four days and then you will have periodic check-ins, but its mostly a solo meditation. I think meditation is something most people would find beneficial and I like that TM doesn't really have a religious aspect to it. It's worth checking out. If you do you won't regret it.

Very disappointed. After paying my fees and scheduling the required zoom introduction, I was unable…read moreto join. I could not reach anyone for help. Tried calling, texting and emailing. Leader later tells me, after the session was completed, tells me he forgot to call me with an updated password. Then he tells me that for my first one on one session, I had to pay extra because there were not enough participants. Not enough for one on one???? Exactly how many does " ONE ON ONE TAKE" take. Be careful. Feels like a money grab to me!!

I cannot attest to the actual center, but I was recently visiting New Orleans and went to the Free…read moreYoga at Sunset event in City Park and it was incredible! The couple who organizes it are so welcoming and friendly - truly positive energy was radiating from them. They also bring extra mats for people who don't have them. Not to mention, the yoga itself was a not an unthoughtful typical practice. The best part was simply doing the yoga at sunset in the park and the end, when the organizers give each cold towel soaked in jasmine/mint/lavendar (can't remember exactly) which was just such a sweet surprise and so divine for a FREE yoga class that they would go to all this length for their students. One of the best yoga classes I have EVER taken in my entire life and it was free. Would come back to New Orleans just for this. What a shame I can't attend this event weekly because it would required! Thanks guys!

Their online scheduling tool doesn't work at all and I called them about it. They were rude and told me to wait until midnight for it to "update". I stayed up until 1:30 AM, continually checking their online scheduling tool and it didn't update at all. It still didn't work the next morning. I called them 4 times during their working hours and no one picked up. It should not be this hard to schedule an appointment at all. It's not a browser-related issue (as I have an up-to-date browser and I tested it on my phone and iPad as well only to face the same issue) and I even asked if I could schedule an appointment over the phone. They were like "Uhh, nope. Tough luck buddy." I had to cancel both Groupons. This place doesn't understand customer service at all.

I filled out my paperwork and the host showed me around. Literally everything you need is there. I would say that if you have had any ear problems to bring the good rubber ear plugs. The ones they provide are perfectly fine, but tend to get saturated with water at a certain point and can begin to leak. Not at all the fault of the establishment; at least they provide something. I had an incredible experience that had me walking back out into reality with a calm I hadn't experienced in a very long time. While I think another session or two would allow me to really let go and get ultimate benefit out of the tank, one session was enough to loosen me up and give me a different view of the craziness of life. I will definitely be coming back for future float sessions! If you're on the fence about it, just go for it. Don't let the other review sway you in any way. The host was very gracious and the experience was great!
