Darlene kept trying to dissuade us from any projects, first siting the cost. We explained while we didn't want to necessarily embark on a project at the moment, it wasn't something we could ignore. She then said it would be impossible for us to get a contractor; we already have one. Then she told us we were essentially wasting our time if we didn't have a piece of the wall tiling to bring in for comparison. She did start to become slightly more helpful as we were asking about the different options in material, but still we couldn't shake the feeling she was being dismissive of us. My husband and I are young and definitely new to this process but we are blessed to both be doctors and have the resources to update all our bathrooms, however due to this unpleasant experience we won't be spending any money at this store.

We just took one of the vanity drawers to Darlene and asked her to help with the bathroom and shower design. She patiently suggested options and went back and forth with multiple ideas. Also provided us guidance on what wall color would go best with her suggested tiling design. The result turned out to be fabulous. Would go back to her in a heartbeat for our next tiling project. There were no surprises with the price - he came in exactly on budget. His crew is superb in every way - excellent work, excellent people to have around, perfect clean-up, and helpful about coming to decisions about the things that don't work about because of pipes and vents. The work is A+, completely. Friends have complained about how every time you have work done, you live with dust and have to spend time cleaning up. I have asthma - never had an incident; every day was completely cleaned. Also, his subcontractors were terrific - some of the best around. As we needed plumbing, electrical, heating, painting, we felt well taken care of. We had 4 bids and Glen's prices were extremely reasonable. We feel we got the best we could have possibly had. Plus it was greatly enjoyable to work with him. We recently moved to the area, so this was a find.

We had Bryan's Handyman service come out and do some work around our house to prepare for my mom…read moremoving in with us. They sent a two man crew, Ruben and Luis, who did a wonderful job. They prepped and painted two rooms, including the baseboards, trim and ceiling. They replaced and painted a set of closet doors and replaced the rickety attic stairs. They also fix the bedroom door where it is now fully functional. The work took two days, but they transformed the two bedrooms. The crew was polite and professional. They worked quickly, quietly and with skill. I could not have asked for better. Mr. Grubb was very responsive to emails and quick to address all our concerns. Thank you for the good work.

Unlike other workers we've dealt with, he arrived when he said he would and completed the job within the timeframe he initially estimated. He and his coworker were very agreeable and worked steadily the entire time they were here. They took obvious pride in their work, and we would hire them again. Highly recommended.

Maurice was the only contractor who was very responsive and came by to give us an estimate. His pricing was very competitive but his customer service was incredible. Maurice and his crew went above and beyond to complete the roofing in one day on our 2,400 sq foot home and worked on a Sunday to complete the chimney leak issue to avoid further damage to our interior wall. Maurice contacted us prior to each visit, explained his work thoroughly, and took such pride and passion in his work. We will refer his company to everyone and we will be using him for all of our homes needs/repairs, from decking, painting, renovations, etc. He is the company you can trust and feel confident that he will go above and beyond to make everything be perfect. I placed the request through Yelp and got a response right away. Juan scheduled the initial visit promptly and we received the proposal quickly. The bid was within the range we expected and they proposed replacing our gutters which was something we hadn't requested. The gutters were the item that tipped us to choosing this group. We were delighted with the speed with which the job was scheduled. The weather caused a slight delay but they finished quickly and left no mess behind! I liked that we were kept informed on the progress; we regularly received photos and communications especially when sections of the roof were found to be in rough shape.
