Ordered a sweet tea, which I thought was included in the combo, but got charged for 2 extra drinks instead ($3 x2). So they subbed it for a brisket chili (which turned out to be my favorite out of everything, so kinda evens out? ‍). Just confirm everything before paying, I guess. Food turned out to be pretty decent overall. It was enough food for 2 people, even without the chili. Brisket was a good size, chicken was boneless and had a good flavor. My partner said the cornbread was fine, but it had a slight flavor that was unexpected in it. I wouldn't get the mac and cheese again though, because the flavor was more butter/fatty than cheesy. The chili was actually pretty good, though. Out of everything, that might be what I'd buy again.

Fortunately, like a phoenix from the ashes, they have been resurrected in food cart form (several of them!), and I couldn't be happier! I fondly remember many post-concert, middle-of-the-night bowls of spicy mac and cheese, before crashing hard in the wee hours of the morning. I'm happy to know that this tradition can continue, even after the culinary carnage of the 2020's. Bring it on! \m/ There should be no surprise in what I ordered when I came to the car for my first visit, and it was every bit as filling and wonderful as it was before! Like an old friend, sorely missed! I was in the mood for something familiar so I had the Ukrainian wings (fun yummy fusion dish with lots of dill). Also got some fries with my wings which were very good. I didn't try the borscht (I don't like beets) but I will be trying their pelmeni next time I go.

For that matter, like in Oaxaca few dishes are spicy by themselves; if you want to zhuzh them up, you add hot salsa. If you visit Flor de Guelaguetza, please order their Oaxacan specialties so that they maybe even add more of them.
