Very Poor Tennis Management…read more I worked as a tennis pro at Treyburn for a couple of years. After the first few months I realized the General Manager for Treyburn Country Club had no interest in Tennis at all. He was 100% focused on Golf and the revenue Golf generates for the club. He did NOT provide the proper finance or resources for the Tennis Center. In addition the Director of Tennis was very lazy and did Not take proper care of the Tennis Center. He did nothing to increase the membership and activity of the Tennis Center. There was very little activity and very low pay with no other options to increase revenue or make more money. I got to know some of the other pros at the surrounding clubs and they were making a lot more money and Tennis was taken very serious by management. Treyburn Country Club is an embarrassment to Tennis! If you are a Tennis Pro work somewhere else!

So many changes had to be made multiple times, and I am amazed by how smoothly things ran anyways on my wedding day. Tara's bubbly and upbeat personality was also such a help to me during an incredibly stressful time of changes. My parents also were absolutely thrilled with her and all of the planner's help. In addition, she did a great job pulling things together that I left very open ended (I frequently said things like, can we just make it like, nice, and wedding ish? And they came out fabulous!) She gave her input on different ideas and worked within our budget. My Husband and I didn't stress about anything. I felt like the attention she gave me that I was the only bride she was dealing with. She kept me updated with her conversations with other vendors. She was extremely efficient with responding to my questions. and emails. Looking back, I do not know how people plan weddings without a professional planner. Brooks was amazing!…read more I threw my dad an 80th birthday party at Proximity Hotel in Greensboro. The hotel recommended a company but it was like pulling teeth to get them to call me back. Once they called me back it took days to get an estimate. In the meantime I found Triangle Sound Service. Brooks called me back quickly like within 20-30 min. He asked me a few questions about the event, the DJ equipment and desired set up and I had an estimate 10 min later. The day of the event, he confirmed again, showed up at the time agreed. He set up the table & equipment and reviewed functioning with my DJ. He returned at the agreed pick up time as well. Everything went perfectly.

After noticing several religious…read moreitems in their pictures, I emailed to ask if they were open to working with queer couples and got the following in response: "This venue is located at our Christian home. We personally have gay friends but we believe their behavior is a sin. I am a sinner and I believe we should love the sinner and hate the sin. The current law allows gay couples to marry. I think gay couples should respect the beliefs of others just as they want to be respected. " Clearly, they don't want to come right out and say we are not welcome, but they made it clear. Nowhere in my initial email was I disrespectful to them, so I'm not sure whey they felt the need to point out that we needed to respect their beliefs. A simple, "We can not accommodate your request at this time," would have been fine. We were not asking them to officiate our wedding. We were asking them if they would do their jobs as business owners, take our money, host our event, and keep their personal opinions to themselves. How their religious beliefs impact their business I don't really understand. It is really too bad, because as I mentioned, this venue looks absolutely gorgeous. However after the rude and frankly condescending email back, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest those who support marriage equality do not support this highly unprofessional business.
