It's a nice walk. Mostly through the woods. You will also pass through a horse pasture, where you can get close to the animals if you feel like. The hike goes on until Geneva if you feel like it. We only walked a smaller section around Hermance with our dog. It was nice walking through the quiet woods here. You can park your car at the southern end of town on a big parking lot. From there you just go to town and then uphill (east) to reach this hiking trail.

You walk up to the window to view the menu - everything from Cheval (horse), salads, tartars, fish, etc you have it all to have a nice dinner. I especially like the Friday night fillet de perche special or the tuna + salmon tartar combination. First come first serve to the seating, come early as it gets busy quickly.
