When visiting charming Hermance and you feel like a bit of a walk (since the village is pretty small), then you should head to this lovely hiking trail along the creek (which is also named Hermance), that runs along the Swiss/French border. It's a nice walk. Mostly through the woods. You will also pass through a horse pasture, where you can get close to the animals if you feel like. The hike goes on until Geneva if you feel like it. We only walked a smaller section around Hermance with our dog. It was nice walking through the quiet woods here. You can park your car at the southern end of town on a big parking lot. From there you just go to town and then uphill (east) to reach this hiking trail. read more
