Before our consultation, my husband provided Sami with the relevant correspondence and agreements, and Sami came fully prepared and well informed about the matter. His consultation and representation have been exactly what we were looking for. He has been a true advocate for us and, quite honestly, a godsend during a stressful situation. I found Sami to be patient, professional, and exceptionally clear when explaining the law, our options, and the best next steps. He communicated everything concisely while making sure we fully understood our situation. We are extremely grateful for his guidance and representation and would highly recommend Sami Ragab to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, thorough, and dedicated attorney.

David Law is an exceptional lawyer passionate about preserving his client's freedoms, futures, and best interests. On the numerous occasions I've sought legal guidance/representation, Dave has provided concise, timely, and transparent communication with realistic expectations. The knowledge, integrity, and professionalism of Dave and this team is unparalleled. My most recent experience with Dave is as follows: -Did his due diligence on educating myself and the DA on a very impactful law change that could have easily been overlooked + and would have added 1 year to my sentence; and Dave was able to get the DA to change the plea deal for my benefit. -Compassionately and professionally requested sensitive information. -Was constantly in contact with me whether it be updates on the case or simply ensuring I was doing OK (you'll never find a lawyer that genuinely cares about you like Dave does). -Asked for feedback, questions, and concerns and always provided a detailed follow-up. -Dave Law's expertise and tact landed me the most favorable outcome. -Worked with me financially when I direly needed it. Dave and the team at Miller and Law are true assets when seeking representation. I have and will continue to recommend Miller & Law to family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and everyone in between.

Most people don't think of Yelp as a place to find anything other than a restaurant nearby but can assure you it's much more. If a professional service business has good reviews it's because they did an amazing job so I can assure you to trust those reviews. Their website has a contact form which allows you to submit your request/concern after hours to have someone follow up and walk you through next steps. I was contacted by Jan who had been trying to reach me for over a week (due to me transposing a number for my cell phone) and she was so amazing at providing an overview of how the practice works and what to expect. She has a calming and empathetic way of handling clients and is a great Segway into what to expect after. Jan set an appointment with Matt about a week out who specializes in HOA issues (and had great reviews and feedback on the internet) so I was excited to get some expert feedback on what I should do. Matt called me on the dot for our scheduled appointment and immediately had a way of making me feel at ease -meaning I wasn't worried he was a shady attorney who will tell you anything to get you to put down a retainer. In fact, he did the opposite. He took the time to walk through each of my concerns, provided info on what I need to have on hand to build a case if I wanted, and also was able to reference Colorado laws. He also is the type to admit he might not be the expert in a certain field but could definitely find you one who was. Such an admirable trait to feel you weren't getting catfished :) Anyhow long story short, Matt took more time than allotted to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed to decide if I wanted to move forward with a case. He isn't pushy and felt like I was talking to a good friend who offered advice as the SME. Although I'm not sure what I'm doing with my case yet he provided me with more than enough info to help me understand how I can make a decision! I would highly recommend these guys if ever in need of a real estate matter and especially one that involves an HOA! They also do more but that is the reason I reached out! Thanks guys for taking the time to provide and arm me with your knowledge of expertise! While no one ever wants to seek out an attorney these guys are ones you would want to promote to all your friends and family! Thanks again!

I could ramble about the work itself: a couple of small-business operating agreements, done well at an exceedingly reasonable rate, with plenty of great advice in the mix. That was great, but it's not really why I'm writing this. Why I'm actually writing this: Sam is a really, really good person, and working with him feels more like getting warm advice from a favorite cousin than a lawyer-client transaction. I've worked with quite a few (often excellent) Denver lawyers over the years for various reasons, but Sam is different -- I trusted him immediately, and felt like he really cares about my tiny little LLC. My business is relatively simple, but I find myself actively looking for excuses to contact Sam. Do we need a new operating agreement yet? Can we... I don't know, acquire a company or something with our stockpile of $52 and a pair of broken shoelaces? Don't overthink it: just call, and I can promise you'll at least have a good conversation with a great human who knows his stuff.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this firm from beginning to end…read more My first impression should probably have been a warning. When I arrived to pay $4,000 of my retainer in cash--all $100 bills--the staff member handling the payment was unable to correctly count the money after three attempts and ultimately needed the attorney's help. That was an unsettling introduction to a firm I was about to trust with thousands of dollars and an extremely important family-law matter. The much more serious problem involved the handling of my case. Before hiring this attorney, I had already filed a motion seeking to restrict parenting time, and that motion had been denied. I did not hire an attorney to simply pursue essentially the same strategy again. We had discussed that the next filing needed to be a motion to modify parenting time. The subsequent filing prepared by counsel is particularly frustrating. At the top of the court form, "Change" is checked. Yet in Section 6, under "Restrict Parenting Time," the filing answers "Yes" to the question asking whether I was filing a request to restrict parenting time and proceeds using restriction language. That filing was also denied, and I was billed for the work. When I questioned what had happened, I did not feel the attorney took responsibility for what I considered a significant mistake. Instead, his position was essentially that the filing was meant to be that way and was related to my desire to get the matter before the court quickly. Yes, I wanted prompt action. This was a case affecting my child, my family, and my life. But wanting the matter addressed quickly did not change my understanding with my attorney that the next motion was supposed to seek modification and should have been drafted accordingly. In my opinion, this did real damage to my case. It made it appear as though I was simply attempting essentially the same unsuccessful request twice, delayed the modification proceeding I actually wanted pursued, and cost valuable time in a legal matter directly affecting my child and family. Time matters tremendously in family court. This wasn't simply an inconvenient mistake or wasted paperwork--the delay had consequences in my life while the underlying issues involving my child remained unresolved. Afterward, the attorney offered to essentially charge me less for preparing the next filing--the modification I believed I had hired him to pursue in the first place. By that point, however, I had completely lost confidence in the representation. After the filing itself and what I perceived as a refusal to acknowledge any mistake, there was no chance I was comfortable entrusting another important motion to the same attorney. In fact, I had lost so much confidence in the relationship that I didn't even feel comfortable explaining that I intended to replace him with different counsel. I simply told him I wasn't going to move forward and ended the representation. I am approximately $2,000 out of pocket for representation that, in my opinion, left me worse off rather than advancing what I hired the firm to accomplish. Adding to the frustration, I was also charged for work associated with ending the representation. After requesting the return of my remaining funds, I was informed that the refund might have to wait approximately three additional weeks while counsel sought the court's approval to withdraw from the case. Clients hire attorneys because the stakes are often too important to handle alone. I expected professional judgment, careful preparation, accountability, transparent billing, and legal work that accurately reflected what I had asked my attorney to accomplish. Based on my experience, I did not receive that here. I would not hire this firm again. I'll edit this with images later just so that the Curtis firm can't make up excuses or lie to prevent people from understanding my reviews.
