Dirty, horrible customer service, don't waste your money. Management has a I" I will back my employee attitude" not , what can we do to make this right. Very unprofessional , and not he standard for Marriott . Corporate will be called read more

SpringHill Suites - Stains on carpet , stains on sides of mattress, dirty continental breakfast - Hotels Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

Springhill Suites will never be getting my business again, the front desk guy to be specific Jackson, was the most disrespectful rude uncharming individual I have ever came across in all my years. My friends booked the hotel not me & I regret it so much. The room was nice but I just can't believe this company would employed such an individual. Grand Junction is great, we had dinner at Rockslide & their costumer service was unbeatable. SpringHill needs more people like that. If you want to be disrespected then go ahead & book your stay at Springhill. I truly hope the staffing changes immediately so no one else has to deal with Jackson in the manner I did:( read more

Staff is very friendly. Room was great. Very clean. My son is in school there. I'll stay again when revisiting that area.

Clean rooms ! Best shampoos and showers , easy to walk around downtown and bar hop without cost of taxi . Breakfast is amazing in the morning . Best free breakfast in town . Only odd thing is the hotel charges parking per night cost which seems a bit much and should be included as apart of the room. Pet friendly ! read more

Great hotel GreAt location. The only downfall we found, for being a newer hotel the rooms did not have a safe in them! And (which is no biggie of you plan ahead), there is no plug ins around the bar area to charge your phone while enjoying their wonderful happy hour. We have stayed here twice and overall loved the experience ! read more

Very loud room. When elevator ran it woke me up. After continuing to wake up I asked for a different room and was told they only had 2 other rooms available and didn't want to give them to me in case they could sell to someone else. Poor nights sleep. read more

Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Pretty much all you need at any hotel. Staff was extremely nice and accomodating. The location is great right near downtown Grand Junction. We were around for the Holiday Lights which made it even nicer. Excellent choice for a stay in Grand Junction! read more

Super clean, spacious, comfy bed, great location. Yes, it's noisy and they allow pets so there is an odor. Every time I woke up at night I could smell cat pee which was a bummer. Check your room good before moving in I guess. read more

I stayed at this hotel with my family over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, smelled good, and was fully stocked. The rooms look recently renovated. During our stay, the housekeepers were kind and smiled, the front desk was helpful, and everyone we ran into was cheerful. The pool and pool area was clean. The continental breakfast was generous enough to make the whole family happy. On top of that, the great location led us to wander Main Street and shop, enjoy the lighted trees and mingle with other pedestrians. This was our first stay at this location, but it probably won't be our last. You just can't put a price on the big 3: safe, clean and friendly. You'll find those things at this hotel, and more. read more

Great location, brand new rooms and very comfortable beds. Great place to regroup mid point on a two week road trip. Front desk was very accommodating, putting us next door to the laundry so that we could do a few loads! Drinks in the lobby bar were small and expensive, otherwise everything was above our expectation. read more

Offered a great military discount. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Within walking distance to bars and food. Highly recommend staying there if in the area. read more

Brand new hotel, right on Main Street. Free breakfast, free wifi, pool, right in the heart of town.

Very nice modern hotel, but fairly high price for the location. My only real gripe is that a $5 parking fee was added automatically to the bill without even asking whether it was needed. The hotel parking lot is convenient but there is free parking all around the hotel either on the same block or one block away. Other reviews mentioned that parking may be difficult - I came on a Saturday evening and found parking on the street right next to the hotel. I would guess that weekdays are even less of a problem. It's downtown but this isn't New York ... read more

Outstanding quality for the money. I've stayed at Four Seasons properties that were not nearly as nice. Decent breakfast. Nicely appointed rooms. Highly recommended. Good Wi-Fi. read more

OK so I know I'm giving money to the guys across the street who charged me to park in their lot when I was at the Fairfield. No charge on the other side of the street! Clean, new and a typical Mariott property. No surprises. A bar in the lobby and a decent breakfast in the AM. read more

The lady on the night shift is super lazy and kinda rude. The hotel looks nice besides the stains in the carpet and the awful smell that lurks in the hall way and rooms. Breakfast is good! read more

Easy to check in, great staff! Love the location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious. A 2 bed queen suite is definitely enough for four people. Hot breakfast, a pool and a hot tub, and a bar all on site. I will definitely stay here again. read more

4 stars considering Grand Junction not 4 star property. Because of this I'm a fan. It's clean great location and helpful staff. The showers are great too! For what you get and what you pay, it's a good deal in GJ! read more

I'm giving it five stars-- it was clean and on a great street for drinks and dining. Just don't wait too late. Things close up early. The rooms are really big and nicely laid out and modernized. Beds were great. Love the barn doors semi ing the toilet area and room. And the shower and room. Yes! Two separate areas - two separate sinks. Sitting area. Desk. Microwave and refrigerator. And pets? Yep- they are welcome too! read more

Front desk service was friendly, hotel's fancier than others around here. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in town

This hotel is extremely spacious. The staff were friendly and the location is awesome. The walls were a bit thin but then again I had wanna be Billy Joel belting out the tunes at 8am like he was preparing for American Idol. He was loud. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. They also allow pets, that's a plus. read more

Excellent hotel option in Grand Junction. Right on Main Street and new, clean and modern. Rooms are very bright and updated and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet. Free WiFi, a gym, an indoor pool and new bar in the lobby. Nice people working here as well. read more

We have stayed here each time we visit grand junction. We always bring our dog (a puggle) and have never had any issues. The hotel is located downtown and serves breakfast and has a small bar/lounge located downstairs. read more

The staff were fantastic. Cheerful and helpful. The facility was fabulous! The only defect was someone's muddy footprints in the lobby. I would have liked the hot tub to be a little hotter. The guest room was incredible; great layout, clean, comfortable. Best room for the value. read more

Very clean and modern, but not sound proofed well at all. Could hear people talking in next room very easily, and when toilet upstairs was flushed it sounded like a brick was coming down the pipes. read more

My husband and I stayed here for a quick get away and it did the job. The room was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable but the doors SLAM shut. I was looking forward to sleeping in a little but starting at 5am people were leaving their rooms and I woke in a panic thinking someone was barging in the room. It was also very easy to hear anyone walking by talking in a normal voice. Having a free breakfast was nice but if you didn't get there more than 30 minutes before they closed up, good luck getting food. It was also a really long line to use the toaster because only 2 out of the four slots worked but the worst part was trying to find a place to sit. At least the staff was nice and it was close to lots of restaurants and shopping. read more

There is an awful smell in this hotel. We asked to switch rooms, which they graciously did with no bad feelings. The second room smelled just as bad. I can't even describe the smell, maybe old body odor. The service and everything else here was great, but if you're sensitive to smells, I'd look elsewhere. read more

Location is great, right on downtowns Main Street. Rooms are noisy, I hear the people upstairs, next door, the ice machine, the elevator. At least I hear them when the air conditioning is not on, when It runs I can't hear anything else. The guide book provided in the room is outdated. The tv channel guide does not match what the actual channels are. No one at the front desk when I arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday, had to stand around until the bartender went and got the front desk attendant. $5 a day to park also seems ridiculous. read more

For a Marriott property I am very dissapointed. I stay in Grand Junction very often, and usually stay at the Grand Vista, which is at least twice as old as the Springhill Suites....but quiet....our rooms air conditioner was extremely noisy, so could not be used for comfort....we opened the window for fresh air only to be assaulted by the homeless kids on the street below loudly laughing, screaming, etc. from 11pm until 3am...when they have the musician outside in the evening there is absolutely no way to avoid it if you want quiet time...period. You hear everything from rooms above you, and from both sides....if at all possible get a top floor room...people do not just walk anymore...they stomp....well into the evening....people allow children to run from one end of the room to the other...it is NOT a quiet, peaceful hotel....for the money...over, over priced. It would be nice if the Marriott chain would use REAL eggs, instead of an "egg" mixture for the "scrambled eggs"....pretty disgusting...if you want a good night sleep, stay elsewhere. read more

Springhill, Fairfield, and Hampton are all great hotels. In Grand Junction you can find these three hotels right next to each other. These three all work together to let our churches stay there every couple of years for a conference. The staff are all super great. If you need anything they are super helpful. Springhill has an awesome hot tub that is amazing! The pool is also at a perfect temperature! The breakfast is nice too. There is fruit, spinach, yogurt, cereal, egg, sausage, muffins, bread, waffles, fruit juices, and milk. You can get coffee, hot chocolate, and tea at anytime of the day which is awesome! Each room has a tv that you can use cable of course, though you can also sign into your Netflix. The beds are also so so so comfy! The only negative comment I have for this hotel is that the bathroom doors are sliding doors. They do not lock and are thick glass. When the room light is off and the bathroom light it on it is pretty easy to see into the bathroom. This is fine for a couple, though for a family it is a little bit weird :) Though for the most part, this is an awesome hotel! read more

I think that this hotel is almost brand new. The rooms are very nice; separate room for commode with a little sink, and room with shower and second sink. Great location for walking around the little downtown GJ area. Nice breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. Nice sliding barn-type doors in room. They did charge $5 for parking for our second night there...not sure why...but a very comfortable visit. read more

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here the staff was helpful and kind, the rates were excellent the rooms were immaculate great facilities and locations, location, location! We were able to walk across the street to a local cafe and enjoyed a excellent view of the 4 th of July parade on Main st. Incredible experience all around! read more

Room very nice modern. Free wifi. Free breakfast. $5 parking. Has a lounge with happy hour.

My family and I stayed in two rooms at the Springhill Suites in Grand Junction on May 3-4, 2013. The front desk clerK was professional and friendly even though there was a confusion of the number of nights we were staying. This was resolved quickly and we were given two rooms for the nights requested. The room set up is functional and pretty. I like that you can get two queens rather than one queen or king in a separate bedroom available at most other suite hotels. The beds are divided by a partial clear partition rather than a wall. There is a separate small bath with commode and mirror ( which needs a towel bar) and another full bath with large vanity. A writing desk and chair sits on the opposite side of the partition. The beds are very comfortable and neither of us noticed any noise from the hallways or adjacent rooms. The rooms were fairly quiet. The only complaint is the breakfast. Both mornings the selections were slim, and the fresh fruit, sausage patties, and boiled eggs each had to be requested to be filled. Twice we were told the selection was out, and this was an hour before the area closed. The employee on the first morning exhibited indifferent rudeness when asked to refill the meat and fruit. The eggs were served in coagulated patties rather than freshly prepared. On the day the sausage patty was available, it was frozen in spots. If all you want is sugary cereal, yogurt and plain bagels with no spreads then this is your place. No one was impressed. I would love to visit again and be able to give a. 4-5 star rating based on the meal your overnight stay includes. read more

This place has a fun, bright atmosphere. It is very comfortable with friendly staff. The hotel is located in historic downtown Grand Junction and is situated next to several great shops and eateries. The street is beautiful and quite enjoyable for an evening stroll. read more

I stayed in this hotel last night. This hotel is fine in appearance. However, the room that I was given, room 408, smelled of B. O. Like in the Seinfeld episode! I complained, was given a drink ticket and shown to room 410. Room 410 smelled slightly less of B. O. Than room 408. There aren't enough free drink tickets to make me want to go back! read more

Recently on Thurs, Sept 27th, a friend of mine and I were trying to check in at the SpringHill Suites in Grand Junction, Colorado. To our dismay, we found that our reservation had mistakenly been made at the Mariott Airport Hotel, and not Downtown. However, the desk clerk on duty, a woman named Dharma, went the extra mile for us. She called the Mariott Airport, explained the situation to them, had our reservation canceled there, and then booked us into a lovely room at the same rate we had been quoted for the Airport Hilton. It's hard to express how grateful we were to Ms Dharma as It was late in the day, and we'd had a long tiring day riding our motorcycles. The last thing we would have wanted to do was to get back on our bikes and ride a ways to the other hotel. So, we give a 5 star rating to Ms Dharma and to your hotel altogether. Employees like Dharma are worth their weight in gold in terms of customer satisfaction, and should be rewarded for their valuable service to customers. My 2nd time staying here, would have been my 3rd, but the last time I tried they were booked, I guess that's what happens when you try to get a room during move in day at Mesa University. We really like it, nice rooms, a sink and toilet separate from the shower, a couch and desk area, comfy beds, and clean. Didn't have breakfast here this time around, but the last time it was a pretty no frills, standard continental breakfast, nothing to write home about, but nice if you want to grab something before heading out for the day. Bummer that you have to pay $5 for parking. I've only ever stayed one night at a time, as a Marriott's rewards card member it says Wi-Fi is free the first night? Would be truly disappointed if I had to pay for extra nights. We were having troubles with the Wi-Fi anyway, our connection wasn't very consistent. But as long as my daughter is at Mesa University, I'll be back! read more
