This hotel was amazing. Great reviews from Google to Hotels.com I got a phone call prior to my arrival which was a nice touch. I was asked if I was part of the MTTS group. Yes. I was warmly greeted when I showed up. Everything was explained well. I was on the same floor as the Devil's Kitchen restaurant. I could hear the noise in the hallway it was happy hour after all. However soon as I walked into my room I didn't hear anything. The room didn't disappoint. Phenomenal and you can tell they keep the hotel pristine. I felt right at home. The fudge flower was a great touch. I also loved the papers they left for me. I would definitely stay here again!!!

I stayed here on during my drive back to Denver from Orange County. The room was super clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the hot tub was down for maintenance. I was able to checkout via phone which was convenient. Hotel amenity fee is only $10 (probably should've been waived since the hot tub was down) and incidental hold was only $50 which isn't bad in my opinion. Love the interior design of the bathroom. Parking is onsite and free. Front desk was helpful and welcoming. Would recommend staying here.

This hotel had a clean, modern vibe and we loved our room. The linens were luxurious, they had high end Beekman toiletries, complimentary fudge fro the restaurant, and our balcony overlooked the campus on the north side and was perfect for morning coffee. Plus the restaurant is a must do.

Hotel modern and great. Cafe main floor quick coffee and bagel. Dining 4th floor $$ pricey but waitress friendly, trout good and views from every table. One weird thing please see my picture we checked in, unlocked room door and see the bed! I don't think management wants guest 1st words as WHAT IN THE WORLD?!? Evidently comforter had been washed and inner batting all clumped makes bed look awful like a varment family underneath

Fabulous hotel run by an amazing group of people. This hotel find is a true gem of hidden gems. From the moment we called about booking to stepping foot at the property we were excited to stay here. The hotel is located close to campus and the grounds are exceptionally clean. As you walk in you are greeted with a gorgeous space filled with ample seating for you to wait for a guest or read a good book. The team working in the hotel is amazing and super helpful. They welcomed our family with two dogs with open arms - YES you read that right they are pet friendly. They have dog beds in the room upon request and they even give your furry friends the cutest welcome gift ever. Each pup gets a Hotel Maverick bandana and a Colorado cookie made by a local barkery. The rooms are a little small but there was still plenty of space for all of us. The beds were amazing. Like extremely comfortable and everything in the room felt fresh and updated. There is also a restaurant conveniently located on the top floor and it serves some amazing food and dessert. We enjoyed cocktails with a view as well through the floor to ceiling windows.

A beautiful spot to stay on the western slope! Grand Junction is a smaller town so hotel options can be quite limited, this new boutique hotel addition has amazing views and is on the CMU campus! It's not a huge chain hotel so don't be expecting continental breakfast but there is a cute coffee shop on the first floor and a restaurant/bar on the fourth floor with great views of the mesa! The beds are super comfy, everything is brand new and so clean. I love the lobby area and also the rooftop bar!! They have bikes in the lobby you can take out for a joy ride too. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

We drove 12 hours from SD and were so very pleasantly surprised with this awesome urban type hotel after a long and tiring drive with our kids and dog. I will give 5 stars to any hotel that is clean and a comfortable stay, that's really all you need after a long drive and it's much appreciated. This hotel goes far beyond your average clean and comfy stay. Every inch of the hotel is incredible! Upon arrival, my energetic children rushing to the potty, myself and pup were welcomed by extremely nice staff, clean and lounge type lobby, it was a refreshing first impression of the hotel. Rooms were beautiful, clean, very fun design with the bathroom tile and the awesome KING sized bunk bed! They gave a few gifts, a delicious lavender fudge, very clean dog bed, raised dog bowls, a bandana and COOKIE for my pup! Those were included w the very affordable $75 pet fee for my 85lb bernedoodle. The beds were super comfy which is a very.big deal after traveling all day. The views, tall ceilings and huge windows were a great plus. The restaurant is gorgeous, I love the dining domes and converted dining gondolas on the rooftop restaurant deck. The coffee bar downstairs had great food (specifically loved the salmon lox bagel and vanilla latte) good selection and quality. They have 1 large jacuzzi, which we were very thankful for in 23 degree weather. Our family would much rather have a hot tub over a pool anyways. We also discovered they have a stinking BMX bike track in the back. We are pretty sure we met thr owner in the morning. Dog loving, very friendly man that anyone would love to talk to. Made very easy non contact text check out. My husband said the gym was awesome. The best part which I'm sure will change, this totally fun and funky upscale (luxury in my opinion) was the same price as your average holiday inn if not less (less than $200 for our bunk bed room) Such a cool option w kids rather than a suite Happy to find our new forever pit stop! I'm more than Excited to return! They also said we have free access to their rec center down the road 5 min walk) ans an awesome looking kids museum is across the parking lot.

Stayed here while touring CMU with our daughter. It was perfect! Great rooms and right on campus. A little pricey but worth the cost. Liam and Paige were very friendly and answered all of our questions about the school and also helped us find some great restaurants in the area. Hotel Maverick is going to be our go to place for future visits.

Excellent hotel! What a nice surprise to find such a cool hotel in the middle of Grand Junction. Staff is excellent. The restaurant is a five star...seriously. The hotel is quiet with everything you need from hot coffee in the morning to a great patio to have your morning coffee on.

This place has an enjoyable patio. We ordered cauliflower wrap, summer salad and the dismantled cheesake. This dessert is delicious. Usually I don't like white chocolate but this time I had a good surprise!

My wife and I just returned home from two nights here and it was wonderful! The room and bathroom are beautifully decorated and VERY comfortable. We would have loved to have stayed longer! The grounds are pleasant and I wish we had had more time to just relax and enjoy the property - very peaceful and scenic with cherry trees, vineyards, and other fruit trees all around you! And Donna was a most gracious and friendly host. Nearly instantly, we felt comfortable and at home in her home. I truly hope that we return to Palisade sooner than later, and if we do we'll certainly be staying here again!

She also called to tell me that I should tell my friends not to bring their children, well after I had already sent and received my RSVP's. She paced around the venue throughout the wedding, and complained to my guests and myself the entire time about kids running on her lawn, the DJ, etc. She even rented a portable potty rather than holding to the contractual agreement that my guests could use the downstairs floor of her house. After the wedding she insisted on additional monetary compensation for the DJ playing music too loud (he didn't we couldn't hear the music under the tents only 50 feet away), for the children who she claimed were unsupervised running in her grass, for my bridesmaid "verbally harassing" her when she asked why the guests were expected to use a portable potty where they were unable to wash their hands before dinner, for my bartender still pouring drinks at 9:07 when the cut off time was 9:00... the list of petty complaints went on. The venue was also not in good shape when we arrived. My caterer fell in a hole made by the venue owner's lawn mower, throwing the tablecloths to the ground so she could catch herself. There were piles of leaves and weeds, which my bridesmaids and I ended up dealing with the day of the wedding. She was supposed to provide champagne flutes, a cake cutting and serving set, and valet service. None of these were supplied. She also went after our $1,000 damage deposit (threatening repeatedly to take us to court) on top of the already paid venue fee. We gave in and paid (only to avoid court), even though she signed the contract stating, "no damages occurred." I would NOT recommend this venue! She wiped us out financially and emotionally.

For ladies weekend 2018, we figured the best way to experience Colorado wine country - was via limo (cause we fancy AF)! Our driver, Steve (HIIIII STEVE!), picked us up from our airbnb around 10am, with the use of his services until 4pm. The car was huge, so clean and featured a bar with drinks! Only downside was the bluetooth connections weren't working to play music, but we gladly jammed to the local radio station! Not only was he a great driver and maneuvered the huge limo with ease, he knew the area well and drove to wineries based on our preferences - (all of which were awesome)! Lunch was included with Steve, so we gave our orders ahead of time, to which Steve packed a cute little lunch spread for us (filled with little sandwiches, fruit, pasta salad and more!), to which we enjoyed on an outdoor patio! Limo's/car services are quite common in this part of town and yet, pricing is insanely reasonable for the time frame. Being just over $50/person for 9 of us, was worth it! Can we go back yet?! There was no better way to experience Colorado wine country! #vinoforlife

When I reported this to Shirlene, the owner, my impression was that she was already aware that the A/C didn't work, yet allowed us to use that particular limo anyway (it was a very warm September afternoon, so not pleasant for 2 hours in the limo). She was pleasant enough, but it would have gone a long way if she had offered to refund part of the cost. The driver was nice, but made some concerning driving errors which made me question his sobriety (also, he looked completely stoned). I very rarely go out of my way to leave a negative review, but this particular experience made me motivated to share my experience.
